Chapter Text
Izuku was nervous to say the least, a new school, a new town, a new city, a lot of new faces, a new home, a new system of schooling and all that while being the new kid. It was even worse, the kids had already started the school year.
Izuku was waiting at the bus stop, it took him a few minutes to get to the bus stop but his foster home was nice enough to show him where to go. he had ear buds in one ear just pretending to listen to music so people wouldn't try to talk to him, but he could still hear if they were trying. God, he hoped no one wanted to talk to him, what was he supposed to say?
Izuku was pulled out of his thoughts by a girl with fluffy hair, kinda like his came to the bus stop, she tried talking to him.
“Hey, I haven't seen you here before. What's your name? are you new I'm Mina by the way” Mina told Izuku. Asking thousands of questions a minute.
“I.. I.. I.. I’m Izuku, Izuku M-Midorya” Izuku sputtered out, not mentally ready for a conversation or this many questions.
“I feel like I've heard that name before, and you look kinda familiar.” Mina said, Izuku had to say something, he didn’t want her to find out. He really couldn't let her find out.
“I do have a pretty p-plain face and Midoriya's a comm-common last name. I think you m-must be mistaking me for s--so-s-someone else” he sputtered out.
“Are you sur-” Mina started, but a red haired man came running to the bus stop and the bus pulled up.
“Hey Mina” the kid greeted Mina passing her and getting on the bus, Izuku followed behind quickly, and he didn't see but was pretty sure that Mina got on to seeing how the red haired kid was sitting next to her. It seemed pretty obvious she got on the bus.
Izuku sat alone for a few stops but the bus got pretty full and some kid shoved into his seat. Izuku didn't say anything. He had blonde hair and red crimson eyes. The guy was also kinda hot but that's not important.
“What are you staring at nerd” The blonde boy said in a rather rude tone, but Izuku wasn’t gonna comment on that seeing how he was staring. He turned around quickly.
“Um S-sorry I.. I didn't r-relieze I was staring, sorry” Izuku apologized, he didn't want to already have someone hate him on his first day.
“Your fine I guess shitty nerd… you look like a fuckin Deku” The blonde guy said.
“Well you're pleasent” Izuku muttered under his breath, this guy was really getting annoying, and he didn’t know how to finish a damn sentence without cursing. Izuku remembered how his mom would have given him an ear full if he cursed if she was… no no no Izuku don’t think about it now not here.
“What that was that extra” the Blonde kid looked ready to explode on him.
“N-Nothing I didn't say a-anything” Izuku raised his hands in defense, it was muscle memory at this point, he got bullied a lot in middle school for well it wasn't important why.
“Damn nerd chill out I’m not gonna hit you” The blonde kid told him, almost a bit of concern though with the annoyed tone.
“Yo bakubabe” the Mina girl called to him. “I see you’ve met the new kid, don't scare him on his first day!” The Mina girl turned towards Izuku, "don't mind him, he just has an attitude, anyway I don't know if you heard Kiri but my name's Mina Ashido, the red haired one is Kirishima and that blonde little shit is bakugo”.
“I'M NOT A SHIT!” The Bakugo kid exploded at Mina. The blonde kid got whacked on the head by another blonde kid but he had a black lightning bolt in his hair.
“Yes you are, sup greeny im Denki Kaminari aka the speedster” The Denki kid, dabbed.
“Yeah as much as I want to save your ego, no one calls you a speedster and you're still 2nd fastest to BakuuBabe.” Mina told him patting a now sad Denki on the head.
“Come on Mina, stop it, I'm not a dog,” Denki said, waving Mina's hand off, now glaring at her “do you have to embarrass me in front of the new kid?”
A purple haired kid propped himself up on the seat, so now Izuku was surrounded by a bunch of kids who were talking like old friends. And Izuku was just awkwardly sitting there trying to shrink in on himself.
“Sup Im shinsou, they can be a bit much. I'd suspect finding a chiller friend group and sitting in the middle of the bus. The hockey and figure skaters sit up here from both teams, so it's a bit energetic" The Shinsou kid, who looked really tired, told Izuku.
“I um T-thanks” Izuku stuttered out.
“Oh come on Babe, we're not that bad. And admit it you love the chaos" Denki said. Izuku assumed from context clues, both Shinsoiu and denki having matching necklaces. And Denki calling shinsou Babe shows their dating.
“I love you, not so much about your friends" Shisnou said very bluntly, and to the point Izuku liked shinsou. He was cooler than the really hot guy, Bakugo, who was sitting next to. And Bakugo's friends.
“Oh come on, you love our drama” Mina said, hitting a dramatic pose. “you love all the tea we spill too, unless you want us to kick you out of the tea club”
“Oh no what am I ever to do!?” Shinsou said not an ounce of emotion in his voice.
The bus came to a stop and Izuku hurried off as quickly as possible, really hoping none of those kids tried to strike up a conversation. There were some other kids on the bus but the kids were so loud Izuku hadn't heard the other conversations there was a girl with blond hair in space buns who was sitting with a girl who had brown short hair, there was a guy with icey blue hair who looked like a 3rd year a kid who sat next to blue haired guy also looked like a third year. and from what Izuku had heard his personality kept flip flop when he talked like he was two different people, there were a lot more kids but those are the ones Izuku noticed as much.
Izuku stared at the school, it was a lot bigger then his old one and there were a lot more kids, like a lot. Izuku felt like he might have a panic attack, but hey UA high best grades in japan and best f- no Izuku wasn't doing that again this year not after what happened to his mom, not after what people said about him. Izuku wasn’t paying attention and lost in his thoughts, he slammed right into a guy advertising that the East team had more positions open for hockey season, this year some stuff about how they needed you to secure the win for East. Izuku had no idea what they were talking about.
“EXCUSE YOU” the guy without it was a girl smacking Izuku on the head and Izuku realized what happened, he had slammed into the girl causing her papers to fall and all her papers to fly right out of her hands.
“I’m so so so so so so sorry I didn't mean to. I j-just wasn't looking where I was going and I-” Izuku tried to help the girl pick up the papers.
“Ugh I guess it's fine .. you're the new kid right?” The girl asked, she had purple hair and head phone earrings that looked like she had a head phone on her ear kinda.
“Um yeah thats thats me Im Izuku, Izuku midorya I really am sorry about the mess, I just wasnt looking were I was going and I I Im really sorry”
“You're really okay, it was an accident, just look where you're going next time Midorya, and by the way Im Jiro” The girl told him walking away.
Damn Izuku was really gonna have to remember all these names, he's being given and fast.
The bell rang. Izuku was late.
