Summary
In time, Obi-Wan would change his opinion of the boy, so many times, starting from annoying but also fascinatingly smart child, to crafty and cruel rule breaker, to violent and efficient enforcer, to his bratty opinionated lover, to dangerously effective weapon of a person. He would circle through all of Anakin’s stages, sometimes reverting back and jumping through a few.
In time, he would come to understand he loves this boy in all of his faces.
In time, he would learn Anakin loves him as well, unconditionally, at any moment. Be it with his eyes full of desire, with his lips on his or with those same eyes burning in scorching fire, with his hands bloody and his mind lost.
In time, they would both grow to understand more about what it actually means.
