Karma is about to walk home from the main campus when Asano showed up.
Not uncommon. He does also go to school here.
But he's also covered in blood.
Karma has questions.
Many questions.
He doesn't get an answer, as just before he can ask what the fuck happened, Asano is kissing him.
Okay.
Nice.
Asano hands the similarly blood-stained baseball bat to him. Karma takes it automatically. Abruptly, Asano runs.
Karma stands there stunned.
Then the police show up.
Ah, fuck.
Asano just framed him for...whatever he did.
Egregious bodily harm?
Murder?
Who knows?
Not Karma.
But as the police haul him away, he laughs. Asano was clever for that. Besides, Karma has an alibi.
Neither of them will be prosecuted for whatever crime Asano committed.
