Wise just smiled, offering him her hand as he thought about how he loves her awkwardness too. And when Alice took it, he pulled her towards him, embracing her tight. She was no stranger to this, but it still surprised her a bit on this night. Wise felt warm, and she couldn’t help but push herself onto him too. “I was waiting for this night, Alice… I really wanted to come back here… And be with you tonight…”
“Wise…” Alice whispered, swallowing her embarrassment. She had thought about a thousand times about that thing of proper ladies not letting themselves be touched by strange men. But while Wise was just a bit strange, he was not just any man. He’s her own, at the end of the day. And the thought made her happy, her ears lightly swiveling as she smiled against his chest, taking in his own unique scent. “Me too… I couldn’t wait to come back here and watch the stars with you…”
