Oakhurst was for humans. But occasionally vampires were giving them small visits.
Fortunately those visits weren't only for some fighting.
1) Apo and Pyro
It was midday in Oakhurst. The clouds were barely covering the sun.
Martyn looked up when he heard squeaking. Two bats were flying after each other until they reached the town beacon and were forced into their normal forms.
Pyro fell on the ground first being caught of guard by the sudden transformation. Apo landed on her roommate more gracefully.
Both of the fledglings were looking around confused. So before they realize where they are and run away Martyn decided to come closer.
"Are you two lost again?" He smirked as Apo rolled her eyes at him and finally jumped off Pyro.
"Your Sire will be mad when he found out about this!"
"Memememe! Sire doesn't need to know!"
Martyn laughed as the pair turned into bats again and flew back into the woods.
2) Shelby
Shelby surprisingly a very rare visitor in the town. She was definitely the one who preferred to stay in the castle.
But even more surprising was the fact that Shelby was the only vampire who Ren trusted.
Legundo just watched as Ren talked to the girl near the fountain. At least neither of them tried to kill each other.
It was kinda adorable to watch how Shelby turned into a bat and start flying around man probably listening to yet another Ren's old story.
3) Cleo
Cleo visited Pearl and Martyn. Vampires knew that. Humans knew that.
So nobody really reacted when Martyn let out a very loud scream as a big fluffy bat flew at him on full speed.
Pearl laughed as she watched Cleo transform back to her vampire form and held out a hand for Martyn.
Sunflowers trio were always together no matter who they were. This is the only group of vampire, werewolf and human in the town. And all three of them were very close.
4) Avid and Drift
Those two were surprisingly even more chaotic than Apo and Pyro sometimes.
Their new hobby was bursting into town scaring Sausage and Martyn. They mostly were doing this in the evening or early morning.
Townsfolks already got used to them. Avid and Drift were causing chaos at most for 15 minutes. After that Scott was usually randomly appearing behind them and dragging them back to the castle like some kids that run away the moment he looked away for a second.
Even though the pair caused a lot of trouble with their visits that's how townfolks found out about the whole coven hierarchy. Learning that Scott wasn't a tyrant but more of a tired mother was nice and a bit funny.
5) Elders
Owen was a quite regular visitor at this point. He appeared in the town randomly every single day.
Most of the time he was found near Legs. He was snoozing on Legundo's head or just watching Doc working in his laboratory.
Sometimes thought he just randomly appeared behind people simply standing there and listening to the conversation.
Much more rare to see in town was Scott. Unless he had some fledglings to drag to the castle he barely visited himself.
Although there's some rare moments were townfolks found an ancient vampire sleeping in Abolish's hair in his bat form.
Out of all of the humans he definitely preferred specifically Abolish. Though this was probably because the man didn't let anyone disturb vampire while he slept.
Scott always coming at night which was logical cuz the elder was the one who had the most problems with the sunlight. Not only he was constantly on his 3rd stage but his bat form was an albino bat which are very sensitive to the sun.

"What is this sudden party in the town? Scott-"
"Legs don't. He's sleeping." Abolish was leaning against the door of his own house. A big white bat was calmly sleeping in his black hair.
"Scott was tired and flew here. Fledglings followed him so did i" Legundo looked at Owen that he was certain wasn't there a second ago. Whatever...
Legs looked around. A surprisingly peaceful view. Apo and Pyro were playing with Truffle. Sausage and Shelby were discussing something that could only be another fanfiction or Twilight. Cleo, Martyn and Pearl were sleeping in a big tangled cuddle pile. Ren was sitting on the grass listening to Avid and Drift playing cards.
Maybe it's not that bad...
