Work Text:

Jax, a lavender bunny from the amazing digital circus, sits silently, looking sullen and annoyed. Then he takes a deep breath and lets it out, smiling, and begins to sing the song "Daisy Bell:" Daisy, Daisy, give me your answer, do... As he continues the song, he goes through a variety of expressions, ranging from suave to deranged to punch-drunk, before shifting to a happy expression. I'm half crazy, all for the love of you... Jax continues singing; a slightly different angle reveals that he is actually sitting against a door with his knees drawn up to his chest. His happy expression begins to slip, and though he tries to hold it together, his voice begins to crack and waver as he reaches the second to last line of the song. It won't be a stylish marriage, I can't afford a carriage-- But you'll look sweet... ... upon... the seat... The comic abruptly shifts to full color, revealing Jax sitting against Pomni's door. The icon on her door, crossed out in red, indicates she's abstracted. Jax's expression is melancholy, and he can only sing a few more lines of the song: of a bicycle built for...
