Jimmy Neutron has done his best to move on with his life after losing the love of his life to magic-induced amnesia ten years ago. So what if he hasn't had a real date with anyone in the past ten years? He didn't have time for romance anyway, between whipping up new inventions and raising his and Timmy's daughter. She is all that keeps him going, especially on the days when the void in his heart threatens to swallow him whole. If it hurts sometimes to look at her, he's only human. It doesn't mean he loves her any less.
So, of course, when he comes home one day to find out she's run away to another dimension, he proceeds to lose his shit.
