Summary
Gracie Holmes's life was in shambles after finding out her husband of four years had been cheating on her behind her back. Ready to start a new life, she decided to move up north to Machias, Maine where the beautiful nature could give her the fresh air she needed. During a hike one day, she meets Theodore (Theo) Pierce, an extremely handsome man who is the Alpha of the Eastern River Pack. While Gracie knows nothing about the world of werewolves, she is quickly thrusted into it in order to save her life. On top of needing to figure everything out, she finds out she has a unique gift that was only activated after turning for the first time. As more people find out about her gift, they want her power for themselves. Everything after this point becomes complete chaos, which Gracie is thrown right in the middle of. She never asked for any of this, but now she must embrace her entire life being completely rearranged.
