Quivering With Green Envy

Work Text:

Superman and Thor are off-world on a mission collecting ancient weapons of immense power and the ability to literally bend time and space alone.

I am in my makeshift castle in an old abandoned warehouse in the city the moment I sense the little revolution, and I grin, knowing it well.

Oliver Queen, standing across from me on the building rooftop, points his quiver at the balcony and shoots the arrow, which speeds up and attaches to the wall.

He lands as the glass shatters on the floor; he rolls a somersault away landing like an Olympic champion, and I watch him do his over-the-top announcement at me.

The finger wagging with heavy accusation sends me laughing, my stomach in pain, and as I regain control, I am ready to face him head-on, and he reaches forward.

Grabbing my shirt collar trying to intimidate me, but I swap his hand to the side and kick his quiver to the side; it slides to the edge of the wall, and he is
demanding answers.

Clapping boisterously, the echo bounces as if ricocheting past me down the endless hallways into the chamber, and the light comes on before me, leaving him perplexed.

The sound ascended to new heights, bouncing upwards at super speed, doubling in sound, hitting the bells, and increasing the velocity to Green Arrow's ears.

He hits the floor unconsciously; as my power cements in his mind, he becomes one with me. All the pain and suffering fade, he smirks gleefully, and I wish him to attend to me.

“Master, I am at your service, my liege.” He says robotically.

“Hal Jordan, aka Green Lantern, is here,” he says.

“Wonderful! The yellow room always calls him; why don’t you join him and aid his submission?

Hal Jordan soaring through
The skies feel the connection to the light source drawing him into, like, a tractor beam, and he lands in the middle of a vacant room.

Green Arrow applauds him in style as his body lies on the corner wall; he does not get a chance to react as Oliver is smiling and he sees something coming—it’s his arrow boom.

The arrow hits the floor, and upon its impact, an explosion erupts like lava from a volcano, spreading like a wildfire, leaving no wall untouched, and he is locked in prison of yellow light.

A ray of light, which he is assuming is heavenly, washes radiantly over him; the room seems grander than before.
moments, and Hal Jordan, ace pilot, is imprisoned.

Oliver loves taking long, steady, and deliberate steps; his pacing is intent with darkness and determination, causing Hal to step back, walking backward till his body hits the wall.

Oliver grabs his shirt collar, firmly slamming him into the wall, showcasing a menacing smirk, and he watches the glow vanish from Hal’s eyes; he is a blank slate.

Oliver watches as Hal’s mind is reconfiguring to fit a narrative of his master, Lawrence, because he belongs to his own.
creator forever and ever, no way out.

Hal faints in time as his world erodes, like memories are no longer fitting, and Oliver picks him up over his shoulder as he walks back to my abandoned
warehouse.

Hal wakes up with this energy; he has never known obedience and allegiance, like a fire set ablaze in a forest and unchecked by the world, consuming the wildfire.

“Will you serve Master?” Oliver asks, aware of the answer.

“My heart and soul, yes,” Hal says, his heart excessively beating.

“It’s my desire.” He falls to his knees pleadingly.
