If Wylan Van Eck could be anyone for a day. it would be Jesper. Infuriating, irresponsible, disrespectful and arrogant Jesper. Because for as small and insensitive as he is, he doesn’t seem to care. And because maybe then he’d know what it’s like to feel like you belong. Or, at the very least, he’d know what it feels like to be likable.
All Jesper Fahey can think about is how Wylan would be a much better son than him. As much as he can’t stand his clear arrogance and his privilege due to class differences severely pisses him off, he’s doubted Wylan has ever been as much of a disappointment as he is. His Da deserves better. After all, why would anyone want someone as stupid, and disorganized as much as a let down as him?
When two boys in rival bands cross paths for the first time, it’s everything short of perfect. However, when each finds something magnetic, and enticing about the other, it’s hard to not grow closer. And, in the end, the pair might need each other more than they even realize.
