    Hermione Granger had never liked nicknames. Not when her parents had tried to call her their little 'Mimi' when she was a child. Or her grandfather that insisted on calling her 'Jeanie', even though Jean was her middle name, not her given name.

    The fact of the matter was, she liked her name. Hermione. It was nice. Pretty. Shakespearean. What more could a bookish girl ask for.

    Yet throughout her life everyone seems to come up with more and more nicknames, stupid, irritating nicknames.

    George Weasley is no different.

    She should HATE when he calls her Herms, only... for some reason – some reason she really can't figure out – he's the only one she never tells to stop.
