   Summary

   Magic once ruled the world, and Wendie is one of the last witches still seeking out hidden magical beings and people who fall through the cracks. While investigating rumours of dragons, a rat yokai, four kappa, and even a demon who tried to take over New York, she discovers the TMNT—four boys with powerful mystical abilities. Believing their magic accidentally transformed them and their 'Master' into animals, and mistaking Splinter’s title for abuse, Wendie enacts an ancient spell to “save” the turtles, reverting Splinter to human form and taking the boys to raise as her own. But magic—and the bonds of found family—aren’t so easily undone.
