   Summary

   Shawn Flanders was an aspiring Uma trainer since he was a child... until he got tricked into joining the Navy. After 2 years of shootouts and salt water, a mission gone wrong ultimately led to the deaths of his squad mates by an unknown adversary. The government covers the mission and he is finally honourably discharged. After unsuccessful back and forth with civilian life he has one last card to play: Tracen Academy. He was once wanted there, but with his memories hidden away behind past trauma, Tracen has become his last resort.

   DISCLAIMER: Might not be for everyone. This work includes light criticism of government treatment of veterans, PTSD, and strong language, however they are not the main focus of the story. While inspired by real-world military structures, this is a work of fiction. Any resemblance to actual events or persons is coincidental (obviously).
