Chapter Text

Izuku should have known better than using his quirk back then. Well to be honest he couldn't just time travel two years ago to prevent this situation and his situation was somehow better even if he can't act like a human being anymore, because he wasn't. His footsteps almost silent, if not fully for humans reached the end of the staircase, kinda hoping for the man before him to not see him. His ears perked up the click of open door.

"What the fu- Hey!"

Izuku sprinted between the man's legs. Kami knows how much he was running. He was stupid, reckless, idiotic, selfless little shit. Fuck if the man chases him? Some people don't like these like him, no, some despised them to the point of killing them. Maybe this was the day where he says 'hello' to his mum in the grave.

"Relax, Kazuma. It's just a cat.."

"What if it's a shape shifter?"

"Don't be so biased. I swear if you chase after that cat i am going to shoot your fucking stupid ass!"

Thank you, mister villain, my life is safe, Izuku thought. Now time to be the hero or rather the illegal hero. He jumped on the cabinets, scratching the wood. He placed his palms on the metal grid and pulled as fast as he could. The sound of the vent door went through the corridor. Damn, motherfucke-! Oh right nobody was anywhere closer to Izuku at the moment so he did his next step. He crawled in the ventilation system.

If he was human, he was sure he would be caught. But as a cat? The chances were little. His ears noticed the loud noise. Izuku was closer. Down from here he could see the two people, who clearly didn't paid attention to what is happening around them and the door probably leading to the kids. Well, it was their fault to what is going to happen next."

The sound from the cell failing startled them. Before they could even proceed what happened, one of them felt sharp pain in his eyes and the other was already on the floor.

Izuku cut deeper until it started bleeding. His foot launched the floor after he was done, already holding the keys in his mouth. They left a cold taste of metal in his mouth.

He standed on his tippy toes to reach the door key frame.

Click. Click click.... Done!

The cat stepped into the cell. Water spilled in the floor, smell of old and mold on the walls were the proof that this place hasn't been cleaned in about years. In the end of the cell he noticed a movement. The blanket falled on the floor, revealing several kids between seven to eleven based on appearance.

"Kimi, no!" said one of the kids when a chlid with pink cheeks and black messy hair reached him.

"But it's a kitty. The mean guys will hurt him if they find him out." The cat was lifted in the air. "We should hide it, Yumi-chan," Kimi turned to the girl with amber hair next to him, which Izuku took as a sign to jump from the child's hands.

"It's not necessary." She pointed towards the door, which led a little light in the room. "The cat wants us to follow him."

Smart kid!

Izuku only nodded his head and jerked off to the corridors. A following of footsteps could be heard behind him.

Now the scene showed several unconscious bodies, smashed doors, cracked walls, broken chairs and tables, falled down lights... And this was the most normal night for Tsukauchi Naomasa. It could have been way worse.

Ah, and of course how could he forgot-

"No, CCTV footage," said one of the technicians.

"It's Ghost again, isn't it?" Aizawa Shouta came into the view. Statement not even a question. Him and Tsukauchi had been on this case, specifically the vigilante's case for several years and they didn't even have a single clue expect maybe their potential quirk. "Did you get any information of the children?"

"As usual they don't mention someone coming in to save them. Said that the door opened tself and they took the chance to escape." The detective pinched his nose. "Thought we did find a white hair on one of the kids' hoodie." Which didn't gave any useful information, because there were a lot of people with white hair. The only good thing was that the list was decreasing.

Eraserhead sighted, "Probably again a fake evidence like last time." Every time when they thought that they were getting closer to Ghost, every time the vigilante slip out of their reach. Too bad the Commission wanted them caught. "It's like they never existed, only rumours on the internet like some urban legend."

This made Tsukauchi think of certain hopefully dead someone, thought he doubt that Ghost was related to him in any way.

The president of HPSC ripped the report files. This was unbelievable, if this continued going what would happen with the commission? What would happen with their control over the naticizens. Thought that wasn't the worst amd most worrying of what could happen in the future. The woman picked the movement of foot steps.

Keigo has finally arrived for the meeting.

"Madame Presidente, you called me?"

"I have job for you." She handed him the only paper, which wasn't ripped apart.

"But madame, why would you be interested in finding kid with quirkles status?" The real problem..., why a chlid who was dead for at least 5 years. Don't tell him that the commission now uses dead people as experiment. "And what about the mission you gave me few months ago?"

"It doesn't matter 'Why?', just focus on finding him! I will send other people to deal with Ghost's case." Because a missing body, was a bad outcome for them. Nature ran deeper than nurture. The kid must be brought no matter if they were dead or alive. "You are excused now."

When Hawks took a turn to leave, he decided to not question the cat hiding behind the door frame for the sake of it's safety. The hero was popular with the commission dark secrets, such as experiments on low class humans and animals.
