Izuku midoriya is a young boy who dreams of following in his fathers footsteps. And although his father is long gone, he still follows his teachings closely.
Midoriya is going to be just like him one day. But first, he must suffer through hero school as a D.E.I. apparently being a villain in an all hero school is supposed to be inclusive?

What are you supposed to do when your father is angry at you? The itch is overwhelming, he deserves to bleed, he deserves to hurt.
No one would care, why would they? After all he's completely useless. He can never seem to do anything right. So why keep trying, especially when you aren't sure if your family even cares about you.
This fic gets pretty dark, the first chapter can be read as a stand alone, and it's not very dark at all!

She was so small, a tiny, frail little thing, with sad red eyes and a tiny horn poking through her tangled silver hair. Her arms wrapped in old, greying bandages, dark spots of blood marring the fabric.
She stood before them, small, shivering, and terrified.

Hanta does his best not to stare. He does not think his actions are convincing to anyone.
“So it uh... I mean, it’s like…” He eyes Midoriya’s disorderly movements. “He’s… drunk?”

“I’ll tell you what boy. My quirk forces traumatic flashbacks so I can experience your feelings and gain energy from all the negative emotions. If you agree not to fight me off, I’ll agree not to touch any of your other friends here…” a brief pause. “In fact. To really sweeten the deal. Manage to move me to tears and I’ll let you all go… What do you say?”
Shouto is conflicted. On one hand, reliving his childhood while this villain watches is not something he thinks he can survive emotionally. But… if he agrees, he can save his friends. Spare them pain. Repay them for the gift that every day of their friendship has been.
Mind made up, Shouto opens his eyes and freezes.
Because the villain isn’t even looking at him.
