Summary
Steven was not doing fine, not when everyone kept comparing him to his mother. He spent his days helping gems and humans alike, trying to make them realize that he wasn't Rose Quartz, yet that never worked out the way he intended it to. His self-doubt and hatred kept growing and growing until it came to a peak, and Steven snapped. Realizing he wasn't doing fine, Steven decided to learn more about his mother from the people who have known her for the longest - the diamonds.
