Summary
**Contains major spoilers for the ending of Baby Baby Baby, if you need to catch up go over here first**
Evelyn Higgins, Family Court Judge in the Lower Manhattan District, loves Adoption Day. A day celebrating the success of the hard, uncomfortable work put in by not just herself but her team of bailiffs, social workers, clerks, interns, and superhuman secretaries.
A day overshadowed by the unusual Bonnet-Teach adoption. Not that Evelyn needs to control the spotlight. Any success in her court is, by definition, hers.
Odd, though, that there should be a moment in her court not under her control. Not anticipated five moves ahead.
Despite that, despite her ironclad composure, her figurative (and literal) separation from the families that come before her as a Judge, she somehow finds herself attending the celebratory picnic thrown for the family by their friends.
And that's when things get very interesting indeed.
