Chapter 1: First Kiss

Chapter Text

The 2023 season Oscar’s pov

They were sitting on Lando’s bed playing Mario Kart. It was a shit race for both of them today, so they tried to take their mind of things.

So when Lando knocked on Oscar’s door and invited him over. It was unexpected for Oscar. Usualy Lando would just go drown all that noise after a bad race into the nearest club, but not today.

Oscar stopped caring about the game a long time ago. His eyes barely stayed open as Lando continued to win.

After a few more rounds, he checked the time on his phone only to realize that it was almost midnight. Time for him to leave for his room. He was barely playing anyway.

“Hey, I’ll probably go, it’s late,” Oscar said, looking up from his phone to face Lando.

Something shifted in the older's expression. Changing from that cheerful smile to almost disappointment. But why would he be sad? Oscar has to be seeing things. It was just late.

“Oh, alright, I will at least walk you to the door,” Lando said, giving Oscar one of his smiles, but it didn’t quite reach his eyes.

“You don’t have to really-”

“I want to,” Lando interrupted him, already getting up from the bed.

Oscar followed shortly after; it was barely ten steps from the bed to the door, and they stood in front of them in seconds.

“That's it, I guess, have a good night,” Oscar said, looking down at Lando.

They were facing each other, so close in the tiny hallway. Suddenly, Oscar was barely asleep.

He was very aware of their mixed breaths and the warmth of Lando's body. The Brit stepped even closer with a mischievous glint in his eyes.

“Promise not to freak out?” Lando asked in barely a whisper. Oscar's eyes kept flickering between the older's eyes and lips.

“Why would I freak-” Oscar never got the chance to finish his sentence as Lando pressed his lips to Oscar’s.

It was soft and warm and everything Oscar want it. It was also painfully short.

“Goodnight,” Lando only said, pushing stunned Oscar out of the door.

Oh my god.

I just kissed Lando Norris.
