Chapter Text
Prologue: The gathering that makes no sense initially...
(Sometime after the Masters Eight Tournament was concluded - A month or so)
There were a lot of celebrations taking place in the known Pokemon World and its regions as people celebrated a new Champion (of a new region too) in this recently established tournament, where the existing undefeated champion was defeated by someone never expected to win as per odds goes.
Many bookies overnight have literally become bankrupt or fled their homes with their surmounting amount of losses that they could not pay and now they have to worry about tax authorities, bank officers and more.
Moving from the situation gambling parties of the world, the new winner did give hope to many pokemon trainers to work their best and do well in the next iteration of the Tournament though no one officially knows when it begins.
But they can participate in different Regional Leagues within Gym Circuits and Conferences and perform well enough in those to get a head start in the qualification rankings.
In addition to that with most of the Evil Teams gone, most League officials can sigh a breath of relief as they can focus on work that doesn’t have to create a regional crisis especially if you consider the Elite 4s and the Champions of different regions.
A lot of them also expected Paldean League to make its inclusion in the Pokemon League Association and create a new pool of trainers and tactics to compete over in different regions.
Finally, trainers, locals, citizens and pokemons did eventually returned to their journey of life and death, which did include the different smorgasbord of experiences, milestones, wishes, wants and regrets that they all faced and continued on as usual with the excitement of the super tournament fraying out.
This is how it was supposed to go with the new winner of the Masters 8 Tournament, now looking forward to a deserving break to his Pokemon journey and maybe focus on something light hearted for a bit with friends and everyone else that he had good ties with.
Even the mysteries he solved all the way felt a bit too exciting as he reflected on those and understood that stillness and introspection is a part of life and with age, he is appreciating the slower parts of that better.
After all, he’s entering peak adulthood, where trainers do decide what they want to do beyond just being a trainer, though that the crossroads of decision-making varies on too many complex factors that is better explained by the ones researching those concepts across different academies in different parts of this wonderful world.
Even his friends who all are versed with something or the other, regarding what he can.
The most obvious includes whether he will be going full in for the regional Champion's duty for Alola and help it establish itself as a proper region under the Pokemon League Association or PLA as it is more commonly known as by most.
What does Ash want to do as he is back home and taking time to think for himself?
During his thoughts, the new World Monarch (of the Masters 8 Tournament) didn’t realise that he will get all the time in the world to think about that instead of just one day maybe since everything and everyone in this world kind of stood still for a moment within seconds, which no one noticed barring some powerful or skilful pokemons.
Unlike other cases, this strange random time-stalling scenario is something that has been approved by higher authority based Pokemons including Arceus, Palkia and Dialga - all of whom actually were convinced to do this by another powerful pokemon who wanted the involvement of certain important people of this current pokemon world for a certain project.
Also other Legendary Pokemons related to some major role in different regions somehow signed off the approval to let this happen with no complaints strangely enough.
What was it about? The ones needed to know about the truth behind this matter, will learn soon enough.
Three distinct voices made their presence known as they watched Ash Ketchum’s home in Pallet Town.
They all watched from the forests at the edge of the town which stretched deep into the wilds of the Kanto region and beyond.
One of them looked with some nostalgia towards the ranch-like part of the town with Professor Oak’s main lab building and his home located just beside it.
A grumpy voice shouted out.
“So what did that green wall breaker planned with this whole stunt and roped us to be the ones managing the guests to this area between the planes?”
The one with the resolute voice scoffed.
“Are you seriously being annoyed by this when you are known to pull people randomly through time? I am sure that you have some involvement with Kanto’s professor who lives here!”
“Why you ignorant-!”
They stopped when the wise voice halted their movement through strong psychic energy focus and with all that wisdom needed to shut down the arguing pair.
“Not the time to argue as there’s a lot of work to do and people to teleport to another plane! On the note regarding how I use my powers; at least I let others ask me their wishes before deciding whether to grant them their wish or not!”
The pokemon with the cheery voice kind of brooded but failed to do so as its stature and expressions didn’t match such a mood.
“I take this as a win! Time to work rather than talk!” The grumpy voiced pokemon answered back as it had a gleeful look on its face.
Soon as their conversation unfolded there, it became their work to teleport the ones deemed important for whatever that the green pokemon needed for his all important task.
Those three curious mythical pokemons want to know what it is all about.
Regardless, the work has to be done before doing so.
Similar to Ash, many other important people who were currently standing still in time (they are not doing anything embarrassing then thankfully) ended up being teleported without any of their awareness, Ash, his mom Delia and his loyal partner Pikachu ended up teleported too as well.
Professor Oak and his grandson Gary Oak, who were living nearby faced the same fate too though the cheery voiced mythical pokemon looked a bit regretful to do this teleportation in regards to this valued scholarly person unlike anyone else.
Ash looked baffled from his introspecting thoughts of near-death experiences and unbelievable stunts of valour and foolhardiness, as he found himself in a strange, large and empty room with no windows, white marbled floor and bronze coloured painted walls.
This sort of room should feel stuffy which he can say as his experience of outdoors as a trainer. But everything felt normal here.
Was he even in Kanto now?
However he watched with a keen interest in this strange space as he saw that like him, many other people were turning out or popping out into this room or space.
But the surprising bit is that they are all important people of the region and have met him or known him in some way or the other excluding the presence of ‘Lisia’, who was talking in concern with ex Hoenn Champion Wallace. There was only one more group of people that he did not recognise but others in the room might.
Wait! The companions and friends that he travelled with also appeared with the mass of Elite 4s, Champions, Regional Head Professors and some other figures like Gym Leaders.
That means-!
“Ash!” He heard his name called by someone specific and also by many people. Before he can wonder further, he got glomped in a hug, which got almost everyone shocked in a way.
Of course, it was his very ‘close’ friend Serena, the relation with whom is up for debate, who looked pretty happy to find someone familiar in this strange place.
He however had to get out of that to see his other friends and rivals, even the ones like Trip, who had a bit of rare concern as they have strangely ended up here.
But one of their reactions was the extreme.
That person involved his friend Brock, whose voice turned into a whining one.
“As much as I would like to congratulate you for finding a date, I think that I haven’t found a-! Ah!”
He was punched by a bunch of other people who travelled with Ash including many of the girls. Whatever either of them tried to say, got lost into the cacophony of voices as Brock unfortunately due to his fault had to face violence!
“Quiet down! We need to be peaceful here and think about why we are here!” An authoritative voice sounded and kind of saved Brock from being beaten up further or mocked by others.
The ones involved with Ash in some way stood according to whom they are familiar with. He saw Serena standing conveniently beside him.
Whatever conversation they need to have, needs to wait a bit on account of the current situation they are in.
The speaker here turned out to be Steven Stone, who is quietly analysing what is going on along with other Champions of different regions. The Elite 4s of different regions are also present, discussing amongst themselves.
Most could recognise everyone of them except one group, who carried almost a similar authority but who they were or where they are from; that they are less sure of.
Seeing their confusion, Cynthia took time to introduce who these people might be. She already steeled herself to maintain the ‘champion persona but her curiosity as a history enthusiast is bringing itself noted as she wants to know what is this strange place.
“For those not in the know, there is or was going to be a new region that was about to join the PLA sometime after the Masters Eight Tournament was wrapped up.”
Lance took the stage here to speak about this. He can easily see a lot of people here from his administrated regions of Kanto and Johto and need to take precautions thus.
“They are from the region of Paldea, which is located south or precisely southwest of Kalos and only people from that region and Galar might have known about them from history books mainly. But I should let them have a chance to introduce themselves.”
The ones not in the know including Ash looked curious on who they are.
An elderly gentleman wearing glasses and a formal burgundy suit stood confidently to speak his important words.
“My name is Clavell officially or currently Director Clavell for short since I administer the Uva-Naranja Academy, in charge of making sure that everyone gets a high quality education including our trainers. I got appointed for that role a few months ago!”
A tall tanned woman with long flowing black hair with purplish highlights, looked prim and precise who also wore a formal black attire.
“My name is Geeta, Champion of Paldea as well as the Chairwoman of the Paldean League which means that I head the league systems and act as the region’s Champion too.”
It got some claps from others including Ash, which was appreciated by her.
A slim woman with long green hair, who thrives on formality stepped up beside her.
“I am Rika, one of the Paldean Elite 4, specialising in ground types.”
Next, a kid (to the shock of many including other Elite 4s and Champions) stood as confidently as she could.
“I am Poppy, Steel type specialist and also another one of the Paldean Elite 4!”
Steven unfortunately was subjected to random looks from the lot of the people present there for who knows what. Maybe because he and that prominent kid are both skilled Steel type trainers?
A bored looking man, who looked as if he didn’t want to be here took centre stage next.
“My name is Larry, Paldean Elite 4 member of Flying type specialist as well as the Normal type gym leader as well.”
There were actually some claps here for the guy who looked like any ordinary person by some metrics compared to the colourful casts of characters here.
Ash looked stressed with even thinking about the work that two sets of official positions that this man has to manage. Some other people there felt the same.
Well he’s a regional champion too, so he will be a part of that role soon!
Finally, a somewhat elderly man with a large green coat stepped up with his presence looking similar to some specific people.
“I am Hassel, final member of Paldean Elite 4, a Dragon type specialist. Also I am an Art Teacher for all students in Uva-Naranja Academy!”
People with Dragon type specialists like Lance or Iris clapped a bit extra along with everyone else as almost all the Paldean people who introduced themselves clapped a bit.
There were three more people left from the Paldean Contingent - a boy who looked a bit younger with an unkempt mashup of long hairstyle with two distinct shades, a tanned glass wearing professor with an unruly lab coat along with a similar hairstyle and a muscular moustache bearing man who wore an apron and has something to do with cooking. There was also another woman who was with them too.
Clavell took time to introduce them.
“Arven is one of our prime students in gastronomy and ingredient origin research. Professor Jacq is the developer for the Paldean Pokedex App and a biological research scholar of the region. Do ask him anything related to pokemons of our region.” He paused a bit then.
“Also do not be intimidated by his looks, he’s a kind fellow. Please welcome Professor Saguaro, who’s our home economics teacher and ensures that students in our dorms get a nutritional complete meal and other essential skills that anyone, especially trainers, should know. Finally, I introduce Professor Briar, a teacher from Unova’s Blueberry Academy, whom some from Unova might know about.”
There was a loud round of clapping from that as the Paldean contingent accepted the welcomes with the rest of the regions in an official capacity in a strange way.
Unovans in the group looked at the mention of Blueberry Academy with some recognition.
But all that optimism went away because someone did point out their strange circumstances overall.
“Can anyone find why we are here?” Diantha commented, which did make everyone else think why they are even here.
Before anyone could say anything, two more were popped out through a teleportation, which might be how all of them have ended up in this strange room.
Ash knew who they were.
“Mom! Pikachu!” He shouted as he moved ahead to make sure they were okay along with Serena as well as the other friends or rivals of his, all of whom made their own efforts to check.
Others like the League members or people like Arven or Director Clavell kept a keen eye on the matter.
The elderly head of the main Paldean institution also found out that all of the Gym Leaders of Kalos are here along with the addition of Chuck, the Fighting type Gym Leader of Goldenrod City and Clair, the Dragon type Gym Leader of Blackthorn City, both being Johto based Gym Leaders. Let’s not forget the inclusion of Wallace and Juan here as well from Sootopolis City Gym.
He considered that whatever that will go on here would be based around Kalos itself, the region where things look bad by all metrics.
Even offline onsite student recruitment from that region stopped or reduced as per what the marketing and student onboarding departments had to say about that and the process for Kalos has been shifted online. Even some teachers are more interested to do offline recruitment in Johto for interested applicants from a region, which is pretty far off from Paldea.
Maybe that is something, he will get to learn from whatever happens here. Though the inclusion of the two Johto and Hoenn Gym Leaders did challenge that assumption to a degree but not enough to change his previous assumption of what might happen here.
“Ash, you are here!” Delia answered the call with a concerned hug though stopped as she saw a bunch of random but important people around them.
She also saw that girl named Serena, who looked at his boy and her with some specific concern. Something is going on here and the girl is no less familiar too. She will need to use Ash’s other friends to dig out any details regarding this.
His legendary Pikachu also hugged him too with a cry as both of them tried to reconcile with their circumstances here.
In the case of others, there was some optimism around them for a moment until realising what is even happening here and even some discussions between these people didn’t break that uneasiness away.
How will they leave this place and the room itself seemed strangely personal in a way!
“I do often get lost on the path but not sure that it is because of me that we are all here!” Leon announced then with his usual flair to avoid showing his nervousness though that got him slapped on the head by his friends Sonia and Raihan for the absolutely lame joke.
An unannounced cheery sounding voice next made everyone be on the guard though the context of it sounded too different.
“Boo! Your stupid sponsor ridden caped champion! You got defeated by a Pikachu! A Pikachu!!”
With the taunting words being directed at the Galar champion, almost everyone laughed up a storm then.
Along with Ash’s Pikachu, Chairman Rose and Leon were not too happy either to mocked indirectly in that fashion.
“Maybe you can change the timeline if you believe that a Pikachu defeating a Charizard ruins common sense in your world.” A more rational voice replied back to the speaker of the first voice.
It did get some of them worried about who these pokemons (makes sense with those wordings) could be, especially with only a few Legendary or Mythical pokemons capable of manipulating time itself.
Professor Oak already realised who these pokemons can be along with Goh but Gary shut both of their mouths with his hands so that they do not blurt out anything unknowingly with their scientific excitement.
“We should introduce ourselves here so that we and our other specific friend will present something that will end up being useful to all of these people and allow them to make the best future outcomes!” A rational voice addressed the unknown speakers of the earlier voice.
Professor Elm looked curiously at Professor Oak then.
“Do you know what kind of future they are talking about? It seems like you know something about it.”
Gary allowed his grandfather to speak then while glaring at Goh though, as he eventually removed his hand in the promise that he will not say something impulsively.
“No idea what will happen here actually but I remember seeing a Celebi as a kid, who helped me with something to that or something maybe. Don't remember it too well since it was a long time ago!” He answered with a low voice.
They managed to quietly discuss this matter while Goh and Gary looked at them in disbelief, getting to know of these background details.
“The future!?” Wallace dramatically cried with worry as he haphazardly walked. “What are we going to do?”
His friend Steven gave a confused look while the Hoenn Elite 4 asked him why Wallace is acting on his antics again.
Sinnoh’s Flint took his time to comment on the Coordinator’s antics.
“So do all Pokemon Coordinators act strangely like this to hide their creative minds and strategies? Surely they know that it makes them a big target for mockery!”
Unfortunately for the Fire type Elite 4 member, he got a lot of heated glares for his comment of his (especially from other Pokemon Coordinators) barring Wallace (who was wound up into his own concerns).
Cynthia looked as if she had a plan to stop another beat up from taking place again.
Despite his stupid comment, Flint doesn’t deserve that for his loose tongue unlike Brock.
“He is meaning to say that since Volkner often complains about Pokemon coordinators ruining his peace and quiet time in his city!”
Flint gave a fed up look at his region’s champion.
“Not sure that you had to interfere here with a Volkner fact!”
“You really wanted to be beaten up like Brock then?” Aaron added as the Bug Type Elite 4 mockingly smiled at Flint.
The redhead checked to see Brock being treated by some of the professors and shivered for a brief moment despite his fiery personality and clicked his tongue in frustration.
Imagine a doctor being his own causality due to their own antics! In no way does he want to end up in such a state.
“Opinion is well accepted. What are your thoughts about these random voices? Who can they be?” Flint said as it led them along with Lucien, Bertha and Cynthia to discuss the possible pokemons in consideration here.
Any pokemon with a significant power level can be excluded here since almost everyone here has felt their presence in one way or the other when these Legendaries were awoken by dastardly villains of the past, most of whom are languishing behind cells or are dead in a way.
Unlike other groups who are talking about ways to get out of here or about those strange voices, the gym leaders of Kalos are worried about something entirely, in relation to what may happen here or whether only their region had all of its gym leaders present unlike others.
“Does this have to do something with what Lysandre did to Kalos? 100% sure that it is the case here!!” Korrina (the Fighting Type Gym Leader of Kalos) rapidly said, which others could pick up very easily due to her antics. She was planning to go on some special quest of hers, backed by her grandfather but nothing official has been concluded in this regard.
“This space does block my visions in a way which is calming though unnerving. But I did feel that we will be learning something about what lies ahead and those strange pokemon voices do indicate that!” Olympia (the Psychic Type Gym Leader of Kalos) announced in a trance, which made it actually hard to follow her words unlike that of Korrina’s childish sounding ramblings.
“There must be some mythical pokemons that must be murmuring. Moving to Korrina’s point, I bet that it is the case that whatever Lysandre could have done and if succeeded, would have changed the timeline of our world in his favour and not just destroyed Kalos! But this idea is more theoretical based on what I observed while repairing that system!” Clemont (the Electric Type Gym Leader of Kalos) answered with some degree of fear, still thinking over what is possible here.
“With whatever Team Flare has done to the mechanisms there, it unlocked the true power of the tower or what its actual purpose was. But given the story of AZ reviving his special Floette, the tower’s timeline changing potential makes sense. Not really sure how he got such high level technology 3000 years ago!”
“From my history lessons of the past, it is said that Lysandre is descended from the Kalosian royal dynasty that used to rule Kalos for thousands of years. So with that villain gone, I guess that the royal lineage truly has ended!” Ramos (the Grass Type Gym Leader of Kalos) pointed out, correlating some historical facts that would be interesting in this discussion.
He really didn't want to panic over the timeline changing point which other Gym Leaders of Kalos adopted to present a united front.
“Geologically speaking, whatever happened 3000 years ago is clearly visible in the layers of the crust of our planet. The layer that was exposed back then to whatever strange energy was fired by the Ultimate Weapon and thus is composed of a mix of material that is a randomised anomaly, compared with what you can find mainly around Kalos!” Grant (the Rock Type Gym Leader of Kalos) answered, putting his enthusiasm regarding rocks to the test.
But before any of them could say anything, Steven suddenly popped up as stared at Grant with intent.
“Can we discuss a bit about how the Prism Tower is related to those strange crust layer readings that have been found in Kalos and Hoenn from what I recall?”
“Alright, let’s discuss!” He hesitantly answered after which he somewhat dragged along with the Hoenn Champion to talk all about the strangeness of Kalosian geology in this strange place.
The remaining Gym Leader all winced at what just happened or what could have happened.
“There goes my friend who knows where!” Viola (the Bug Type Gym Leader of Kalos) answered, worry evident on her face.
“Talking about the Lysandre points, I have often seen old portraits and even some very ancient photos of the last few members of the Kalosian royal family having striking red hair similar to Lysandre. But that would be only a proof of him coming from some lesser Kalosian nobility who were tied to the ancient king’s line.”
Valerie focused her vision on the Johto Gym Leaders as well as Lance. She might possibly reach out to them later on, which should be a chance taken since no one is sure how long they all will be here.
She nervously shifted back to the conversation that her fellow gym leaders were having.
“Given that I am not from Kalos, I can’t really add much to this discussion but my recent observations from other trainers regarding wild pokemons in Kalos becoming more aggressive should be a concern in a way especially after what Team Flare did!”
Wulfric gave an energetic laugh as he began his points, while observing all the relevant people around here. Something notable that will define the future will surely happen here according to his instincts.
“Do not worry, Valerie! You have adapted well to our region as its gym leader despite its issues. Also noting your point about wild pokemons in Kalos, maybe letting the Paldean contingent know about it, would be helpful for the future.”
“That should be something necessary!” She replied back, looking a bit more confident at the encouragement.
Even in the few moments of time (relatively here), Kalosian Gym Leaders have already decided that they will take that and other notable issues ahead to the Paldean League, regardless of what Diantha and other Kalosian Elite 4 members have to say about it.
Another group who worried a lot about being here included Ash’s friends from Alola. The larger issue is that they don’t have anyone with some authority from their region unlike other regions. Professor Kukui might be here but he’s a lab professor, not a region’s representative.
Ash might be able to carry out such a role but he’s not from Alola and needs more experience and mentoring before settling for such a duty officially.
Thus, they are not fully sure what to do when someone here would ask them about something official or important.
They of course talked about it separately from others for a temporary basis.
“So I hope that this does not involve Ultra Wormhole nonsense!!” Sophocles started the conversation with a worry despite this place resembling a large living home of someone a bit well off financially.
“All of us can sense when Ultra Beasts are about to pop in somewhere but this place doesn’t look like one since their arrival often has a different energy signature compared to normal teleportation.” Gladion said, maintaining his alertness in this place despite all the Elite tier trainers present.
“Forget about Ultra Beasts! They don’t taunt us normally unlike those voices that we just heard. One of them felt to me as a Grass type pokemon!” Mallow answered, hopeful to get an answer to what that pokemon was.
“A Grass type mythical at least! In no way that normal pokemons are going to teleport to a sleek place though it looks barely empty!” Lana replied and also kind of focused on this room, whose walls she had hoped would be blue in colour.
“You are saying that because the room’s wall colours are bronze with contrasting shades of white. Kind of awesome!” Kiawe said with unfiltered enthusiasm.
“But given that we are the only ones from Alola, how do we communicate anything official regarding our region with everyone else? I barely know anything at all about Paldea.”
“If necessary, let me or Gladion deal with the official communication regarding Alola since we are helping Aether Foundation deal with its running to a degree now. Professor Kukui can aid us too if it’s necessary!” Lillie answered with some uncertainty as her brother only accepted that role with a grunt.
“But all of you and other friends of Ash’s can help us there too. Moving on to the matter of Paldea, we can help too but taking help from the Paldean contingent is a nice idea too since most of them are educators like our teachers in our Pokemon Trainer’s School!”
There were continued discussions over this topic amongst the group itself and eventually they joined with Ash and his friends later, though finding his potential interactions with this ‘Serena’ to be an interesting and amusing sight to watch.
Professor Kukui looked interested to follow this mystery with the rest of the Alolan trainers.
Despite getting to catch up in a convenient area, conversations soon began to dull out since none of them could find a way to go back or out of this place at least.
Also it didn’t help that barring Pikachu, no other pokemon can be released here since the pokeballs of everyone else seemed locked in a way never seen before.
Thankfully no one panicked or overreacted to this at least for now.
Soon however, with a sudden pop in space and time, three people or more like two people and one pokemon ended up being dropped into this place.
Almost everyone recognised them.
That’s because those people turned out to be the infamous comedic Team Rocket Duo of Jessie and James along with that talking Meowth; all three of whom followed Ash and his team for literal years.
The chase by those Team Rocket trio only stopped when Ash actually won the Masters 8 Tournament and with him stopping to travel for a while.
Their presence itself got the attention of everyone else in that strange space.
“What nonsense have we sprouted into?” Jessie roared, looking all confused.
“No idea unless you consider trying to pretend to be a pokemon battle item store owner! We need all that money to go to Paldea, where reports of some crazy scientist group running wild along with the existence of time bending high energy crystals.” James answered, rubbing his forehead.
Teleportation leads some to have a highly sporadic headache. Who knew!
Clavell's and Geeta's eyes rolled in attention to the mention of those crystals especially.
“We are in trouble, wherever we go!” Meowth announced as things became clear for him and the other two as they quickly saw their surroundings, filled with all of the trainers that they didn’t want to face along with twerps and his super gang.
“Guys! We are in big trouble already!”
“I knew that our plan to hang out around a factory to steal those items would be a disaster. Now we are in some dead zone.”
“Jessie! We have to find a way to escape but where-?”
“Team Rocket!!” Lance roared as he himself lunged at the trio at the moment’s notice which got them surprised at the sudden action.
Others didn't expect such an erratic scene here after a considerable amount of conversations having taken place earlier.
But a strange energy barrier popped up and stopped Lance from advancing further as the trio looked relieved. That led to everyone asking what is going on now since that interaction caused a lot of noise, especially with Lance going back and feeling curious as to what is going on.
The Paldean contingent looked up to see what the matter is even about with Geeta observing the infamous criminals who have been quoted a lot in research papers by many students in Uva-Naranja Academy.
It’s kind of funny to see the trio, who belong to a declining criminal organisation, becoming more famous on social media compared to many Gym Leaders in comparison. A talking Meowth surely helps after all.
“Stop fighting! This is a place of peace where all of you have a purpose to fulfil and experience as attested by Legendaries who demanded your presence here due to your knowledge, presence and power to affect the wider world in your timeline, including those three!” A deep voice addressed which had a level of authority and presence unlike the unseen sources of the earlier voices.
In a surprising flash, the 10% form of Zygarde made its presence known as it stood in a definite position which would allow it to be noticeable by all of the humans (& 2 pokemons) here.
Barring the ones who dealt with the Kalos crisis or witnessed it in some way or the other, others took a while to realise who this pokemon is and stared at it with awe eventually.
“Squishy, you are alright!” Bonnie cried as she went ahead and met with the pokemon, despite Clemont’s poor attempt to stop her.
The nickname and the close presence got some alarmed and others looked at the interaction with amusement.
“I don’t go by that nickname anymore. Things in the future may be serious and any help all of these people can get, will be fruitful for almost everyone.”
Zygarde looked stubborn against Bonnie’s further attempts to talk in a cute way with it.
Thankfully the girl was pulled away by her brother soon enough.
It seems that Zygarde is using some pseudo telepathic method to make its words clearly heard by everyone throughout the room.
“You want us to learn about the future?!” Lance answered, being the closest champion to that pokemon. “Is this why you brought us?”
“I made this whole plan to show a possible version of the future from a different world. The future of your world has not yet been decided. Moving on, these three are the ones that brought you here and will be very relevant later on!”
As Zygarde finished his words and some murmurs on who these pokemons can be, three highly mobile pokemons popped into the scene.
Everyone there recognised them in some capacity or another after seeing them face-to-face.
They are Celebi, Jirachi and Victini; prominent mythical pokemons from Johto, Hoenn and Unova respectively.
“Leon’s joke is lame which is as bad as his sense of direction!” Jirachi mentioned. “Also I am not going to grant him the wish to change that trait of his even if Rose wishes to sell me all of the company holdings.”
It unfortunately followed with some laughs at the Galar Champion, who tried to steadfast himself with confidence despite the odds against him. Rose didn’t look much better either now.
Victini slapped the wish granting pokemon on the head, getting a glare from the pokemon in particular
“We really don’t have time for jokes now, when Zygarde has more important things to say to them.”
“It concerns my time travelling domain in a way so there is a weight with what these people learn in regards to the future that may or may not happen to a varying degree!” Celebi commented, who is actually hesitant to do whatever they are planning to do.
Hearing some of the details that they and Zygarde talked about, many people in this strange room shared their worry.
“Is that why I am here?” Alder, the former champion of Unova asked with some doubt. “My role under the Pokemon League related duties was already done and I was pulled here while exploring the wastelands beyond Unova! So my presence is important along with everyone else here?”
Those questions in his energetic voice did make people think how relevant they are and how they are connected in a way. It could answer why they were even pulled into this strange room.
“Kind of true!” Zygarde answered as it observed and planned its next move.
“There’s a reason why Kalos has most people representing here in total since the future or whatever version of the future you all will be watching, has to do with a possible future of Lumiose, which all of you will be experiencing and learning from.”
Now the ramblings got serious since no one expects to experience the future in this fashion.
Some of them (especially along with Ash) looked nervous regarding that mention of time travel and alternate timelines, having experienced it due to unforeseen circumstances but it is never recommended by them in any way.
The three mythical pokemons tried to emulate those ramblings too with Victini leading the plausible metaphorical charge but was shut down by the others before the attempt.
“So do things there get that bad such that we may need to learn this future? How useful will it even be?” Siebold asked as Kalos’s elite representative as no one from the Kalos League (including Gym Leaders) haven’t asked a single question to this legendary pokemon from their region yet (kind of forced to do Team Flare’s destructive bidding).
“That’s a good question. But to know whether your timeline will propagate to that future, will only be cleared based on answers of some of the key questions that I will ask now.”
Given the power of Zygarde that many even witnessed, everyone there quietly anticipated what those questions might be.
It’s not as if they can escape this place or be able to release their pokemons for a fight since their pokeballs are locked.
“Do know that this event has been implemented such that you will return back to your dimension with no time having passed by since your arrival here.”
That led many to breathe a sigh of relief, now that any passage of time back in their dimension with all of their absence could have led to way more unimaginable problems especially with the absence of the Elite tier League Trainers and Head Regional Professors along with the Academy Professors as well.
“The first question is pointed at anyone from Kalos or familiar with people at the Local Government level in Lumiose!” Zygarde asked in its definite tone.
It led to a lot of discussions by almost anyone from Kalos itself though with the region kind of recovering technically by all metrics.
But the League and the regional government failed to do that on their own due to their limited manpower post Kalos Crisis but they are still not in that bad of a situation yet and successfully moved out of the crisis phase at least.
Clemont coughed a bit before giving his answer.
“There are multiple companies present in Lumiose and Kalos, who are helping with the regional recovery process overall especially with the Lumiose Redevelopment Project headed by the government and local city council. But one point to note is that my Gym’s important role to the city means that Lumiose Gym is still operational under my and my dad’s control.”
Zygarde hummed in response with such a strange frequency that it seemed alien and sinister to a degree for normal people and pokemons.
Pikachu already hid in Ash’s Jacket and Meowth also decided to make himself less visible by putting his position in between Jessie and James.
“Acceptable answer! The next question is aimed at Wallace and Steven Stone. Get ready!”
The two notables from Hoenn stood a bit straighter with attention, being more used to more legendary pokemons compared to most others here.
“The second question is a combined one regarding whether anyone particular outside your family has trained both of you in the art of pokemon battling and whether. both of you have connections with any particular kid outside of Lisia?”
The girl looked a mix of irked and confused as she blinked a bit at that strange and very specifically targeted question.
Others also looked stumped especially the Hoenn Elite 4, who are confused on why this question is being asked even.
Steven and Wallace quietly looked at each other, not knowing what to say even here because they have to delve deep into their old memories to give a more accurate response here.
“Regarding my case, I have been trained about mostly business related matters with my father while many other hired trainers trained me in pokemon battling skills, before I went on my journey!” Steven promptly addressed, not sure how else to answer such a targeted question.
“It’s similar in my scenario too in addition to my dad additionally training me to be a pokemon coordinator rather than the business world.” Wallace answered soon too. But he recalled having to say something more too.
“Except kids know us due to our acclaimed status or by reputation, none of us are particularly too close to any kid beyond her!”
People around Ash’s age group in addition to Iris looked pretty interested to hear stuff like this about the champions which normally doesn’t come up on the news and often needs some literary digging to even find (with those being a more common source of info back in the day).
This take is especially reasonable given that when Wallace and Steven started being a trainer (many years ago), the internet back then, was a thing mostly used by the region’s armies, research agencies, tech specialists and some government departments.
Then the strange infrasonic hum from Zygarde followed. It is possible that it is doing so to intimidate everyone here in a way.
“Good answer! The third question will be asked next and there will be one more after which everyone would get the answer on why they all have been brought here more precisely! Tierno will be asked the next question!”
The trainer in question looked alarmed to be such a question along with his immediate friends, who looked worried about him. Hopefully nothing happens to him here.
Others are more focused on the point of predicting what they will be doing here, especially with how they will learn about the future and so on.
After all, even teleporting this many people takes a lot of planning and effort. Legendary pokemons don’t involve so many people into something unless it’s something really important.
“So this question is related to a family matter of yours, thus keeping it straightforward. It is about whether you know about having another sibling or not from your parents?”
Tierno stumbled a bit in response to the question. It was a bit of a surprise to him along with some other people there.
“I have met your mum but not your dad so that must be a possible clue to the answer there, right?” Trevor asked, recalling a bit about his friend’s family.
He knew that due to the nature of how many people participate in some form of pokemon journey or another or that they move around a lot, single parents are a lot more in most regions than the public would like to admit especially if most of history is taken into the scale here.
But with the current level of internet use and easier ways to communicate over long distances, such kinds of relationships or possibly infidelity are a lot more challenging to hide.
But given that he has both of his parents around at his home unlike all of his friends, he can’t say much definitely on this matter from a personal anecdote.
“Well I have always lived with my mum though I know that she occasionally travelled to other regions but nothing more. So I have no idea whether I have any other family members from any angle as it seems.” Tierno answered with some confidence which got some claps from Ash and his peers.
This time, the strange hum by Zygarde was more easily tolerated. Some saw Clavell mentally peering at the legendary pokemon as if they were having some internal discussions.
“Venerable answer there. Moving on to the last question now. I could have asked you a lot more questions but it will distract from the goal for which all of you have been brought here for!.”
Despite some people (like Paul or Alder or anyone with some ) looking very interested to answer or even ask questions to Zygarde, others looked relieved not to ask or give out private details amongst all these people.
You can’t defy a Legendary, especially when there’s no escape route present here and with most of their pokemons unavailable for battling.
“Team Rocket trio! It’s your time to question and do not lie!” Zygarde roared at the bunch of ‘somewhat’ criminals.
It did shock others on the matter on what could be asked here though anyone associated with high level League roles are interested to know whether any Team Rocket secrets will be revealed from Zygarde’s questions or whatever that will take place here.
“Please show mercy on us!” Meowth cried, bowing down on the ground. He had been told by all 4 of the pokemons to not say anything about what else they had additionally talked in non-human language. The outcome of defying that request is something he is not willing to risk his life over.
“Let this rich boy take over the answering. We want to represent our organisation very well!” Jessie quickly replied as she dragged a frazzled looking James to the front.
“As if your organisation has any respect left!” Clair said angrily with an answer that expressed everyone’s thoughts about the negativity with which Team Rocket is associated with the rest of the civilised populace. Others just joined that taunting for only a brief moment.
After all, the trio actually helped cement that reputational decline further as they chased around Ash and his friends through different regions, while trying to catch his Pikachu.
James ignored all that negativity to prepare himself mentally to give the answer with a polish that he attained from his life of great wealth despite hating most aspects of it.
“So the final question to determine the shape of the timeline here. So a lot of us already know that the former Viridian City Gym Leader Giovanni is the Team Rocket Leader boss. My question is whether he had any sons or protegees that you can think of, who were shaped by his tutoring or the principles of the criminal empire?”
That question itself had Team Rocket look shocked already.
But for others, those in the know affirmed their beliefs while those who didn't (Lot of the Elite League members somehow fell into this group embarrassingly) got a wild realisation of who else possibly might be committing crimes under an official banner.
Chairman Rose nearby managed to keep his nervous thoughts about that question to himself since whatever his company was up to with their illegal operations regarding Galarian Legends and Power Generation Hijacking, didn’t end up in public notice thankfully.
Galar’s economy and state stability might be in jeopardy if such a critical info leak happened. He realised that Ash, Leon or anyone else major involved in dealing with the Eternatus matter avoided mentioning anything about that, which is why those incidents are not in public notice yet.
With so many Kalosian people around, that info leak risk is still there and he hoped that what viewing of the future took place, those off-the-book details didn’t end up being showcased.
Despite all the noisy discussions, Zygarde tuned all that chaos out to listen to James, who would be giving the answer to the question, looking absolutely nervous.
“Regarding our boss, despite working with him for years; we have not managed to get close to any of the top agents or admins of our team unless they were supervising us. But it is way better than what I was destined for. Sticking to the topic, I can say maybe the boss reminisces about some son he has lost and something like that would possibly make him train the right people to pass on his teachings but never knew who they could have been. Possibly it could have someone from another region.”
Behind all the tomfoolery, James’s wealthy upbringing meant that he is very well capable of understanding of these hidden things that goes on amongst the wealthy and powerful along with other actions that are prudent in their eyes but not to the general public.
Zygarde came a more satisfactory hum but no infrasonic noises at least to the relief of everyone.
“That concludes our answers and the future you all will be viewing will be a bit different based on some randomness Arceus wants to bring into this matter similar to how he dealt with the time-space nonsense in Hisui!”
Though Zygarde mentioned the plan neutrally, the info got the history maniacs and the people here from Sinnoh worried about how the leading creator of their world might have a hand in matters back in the past and maybe other parts of history too.
Did Arceus bring in someone from another dimension to deal with whatever the matter is in that alternate timeline, which they would be learning about?
“However, due to how things are different for your world’s or dimension’s future based on the answers I received so far, whatever we will learn here will differ. But there is a lot to learn from watching this disparate future despite the actual future for your world being highly different and may change a lot more with the time all of you spent here.”
“So what is the probability of the future that we will be viewing? It is kind of unbelievable that such a thing is possible but with the presence of pokemons, anything can happen, right?” Cynthia asked with an analytical grin which displayed her keen interest in knowledge.
“Well, the more interesting part is Arceus wants us to watch this future, which is making me too curious though any info we will find in it especially in relation to Kalos might be too interesting.” Steven added his point.
After all, if the viewing can allow him to get insight into the next evil team’s plans or any business investment opportunities; then the activity will be interesting since he doesn’t see any harm in doing so with all the prominent people around to give insight.
He peered at the Paldean contingent as well as Clemont especially after he got a lot of insight about Kalosian geology from the conversation he had with Grant, though the Kalosian Rock Type Gym Leader looked fed up with all the rock talk.
He is after all, a rock climbing expert of different types of rock formations rather than a usual geologist.
It will involve an understanding of a research paper he got to read, published by some high level researchers from Uva-Naranja Academy.
The paper talked about how Tera Crystals can emulate and bypass high level and high order energy requirements for quantum physics and machinery applications due to their specialised possession and emission of cosmic (from space itself), aura (from pokemon biology and creation) and terrestrial (from the planet) energies.
Will that hypothesis be given a more clear understanding in the plausible viewing of the future screening? He can only wait to see and confirm!
The Paldean contingent especially Director Clavell & Geeta looked worried on the timeline defining point since there is certain to be their involvement in this future and other info related to Paldea’s secrets that may come especially with Area Zero and its wildly unbelievable pokemons.
Since they haven’t officially interacted with almost anyone here until now (which is way earlier in a logical sense), it’s very likely the future now has almost changed in many ways.
This situation is in contrast to the region’s usual plan for slower integration, which would have made it take a longer time to meet all these people, especially anyone beyond regional Elite 4s or Champions.
Now with this unique incident, that would not be possible and it’s more likely that they would be limited to record physically whatever they can learn about these places or the unique future that they are watching.
Zygarde barked again to signify his presence to the group, who are a bit distracted from his words.
“The future that will be shown today will have less than one in a billion chances of happening at least with all the answers that have been provided, especially with a layer of past details necessary for it to occur. But regardless, all the info there will help you prepare for your future - which may or may not go well. Some of the elements shown in this future do properly exist in your version of your world too.”
Everyone there felt worried given that whatever that’s being talked about has a powerful pokemon like Zygarde felt negative about what can happen in the future.
“Before we finally move to the viewing or the broadcasting of that different timeline, note that first, the character who will be the focus in relation to the gravitas of the viewing is loosely a unique Faller but with his memories of his past world intact.”
“Wait!” Gladion asked with panic. “How is that situation with Ultra Wormholes possible? That seems highly unlikely especially with the Ultra Beasts being always possible.”
Others with awareness of Ultra Beasts or from Alola, looked a bit alarmed, while others picked what the terms up meant as word spread around.
“It is unlikely, yes but his presence in the Pokemon world is an anomaly as he has been artificially pulled into that unique version of the timeline due to some Particle Collider experiment back in his home dimension. Another point to add is that he knows a lot about pokemons and all of the people in this room, despite his home dimension lacking one as well as everything about that place is different in totality. But he knows the idealised version of most of the people here rather than your actual versions in the real world.”
Given the tangent that the legendary is talking about now, it seemed like many people looked utterly confused with what it is trying to convey to them.
The matter sounds more complex than it seems, possibly which normal discussions will not solve that easily.
“So we will be watching someone who knows a bit too much about us and a lot of events that happened as the main driver of the story in this possible future. The person in question also strangely ends up as a Faller too being from a dimension without Pokemons, right? Sounds like a very realistic movie!” Gary managed to answer, analysing some of the points spoken by Zygarde.
This explanation is way easier to grasp for everyone here compared to the earlier one.
But it made everyone think what else they will encounter or get to watch here given how outlandish that even sounds.
“Of course, that is an accurate explanation too. It helps that you are less arrogant now compared to the past. On the final note, this character will also have important connections with the counterparts of some of the people here.” Zygarde answered while quickly glancing at everyone there.
“So we are almost ready to begin as I arrange what’s necessary so that the watching can begin.”
He teleported out of nowhere then.
Gary ended up being mocked over along with the praise especially by the people who knew how he was like before.
“As someone known to involve in time travelling, note that as this place has no time as existing outside any zone of time-space concept-ability thus no one here needs to eat, sleep or do anything as such though food will be provided here to satiate the sensation of hunger many feel while watching an elaborate broadcast like this!” Celebi answered as it created a buffet table with different kinds of food at some distance from everyone there.
It did create some awed looks, which made the Johto mythical pokemon feel a bit prideful.
“Hey! That’s my job to fulfil wishes!” Jirachi commented, looking annoyed. “As you people will be watching something equivalent to what would be considered as a movie so here are some seats for you all!”
Along with the buffet table of food, a bunch of blue seats popped up with a coffee table in front of them with some notebooks and pens.
“That’s the right colour for seats!” Lana cheered from the back as her friends could only groan at that habit in response.
“Is there some theme with this strange room out of bounds of time and these seat colours?” Professor Rowan asked his fellow professors as they worked their own internal mystery and thoughts about this whole future thing, abou this place overall and with which person’s perspective they will be watching the alternate future timeline.
“Of course, whatever everyone does here, do go for the win and enjoy the experience!” Victini quickly answered as it looked impatient with other mythical pokemons there.
They soon fled that space and now only the humans with 2 pokemons remain there only.
Now everyone there knows what they are getting into (at least they will be safe here) in most parts along with a chance to watch a movie.
It will be from some random person’s perspective on a plausible future of an alternate version of their world. A bit confusing but undoubtedly, will be a unique audiovisual experience.
Thus as per their purpose, everyone sat accordingly with the seats auto-adjusting their size based on group size and space that each person in those groups will require.
Most Elite 4 members sat with their respective regional champions since this falls under League work in a way and any notable observations would be useful when they come back to their timeline.
Kalosian Gym Leaders however sat separately since they are not fully eye-to-eye with some matters with which their region’s Elite 4s have planned for.
In case of other region’s gym leaders, Juan and Wallace sat with Steven in inclusion to Lisia. Clair sat besides Lance.
Chuck actually took the initiative to sit with Paldean Elite 4 members as a way to get a head start in building a good inter-regional relations between them and Johto with his boundless energy which allowed Poppy and Hassel to start rambling with him very early to the misfortune of Larry who sat besides them and no option to move somewhere else.
They all are still better than Iono at least.
With so many revelations all of them had to deal with today, Ash wanted a breather especially with the lot of topics being too politically or scientifically inclined for his interests.
But that made him think about his role as Alola Champion and whether he wants to take on that role on a formal political basis or give it to someone from that region after discussing with his Alola friends. With the news of the official Alola Elite 4 forming soon with its successful tournament inauguration despite the process formally still being in the phase of discussion, to which he might be invited to soon.
He also had other complicated matters to deal with here, especially after what the premise of the future might be here and how relevant will the character’s view be with respect to their timeline.
However as Kalos is associated with this future timeline, that makes him concerned on what else can happen there regardless of things being different here somehow.
After appeasing his mother that he will be safe here as she went to talk with some of the professors about Ash’s situation as a region’s champion, he was approached by Serena again, who looked doubtful. He still didn’t take his seat yet.
“Worrying about Kalos?”
“I should have tried to help the people there but I could not-!” He replied but felt short as he remembered the devastation that happened after Team Flare initiated the Ultimate weapon firing plans.
His ‘may be more than a friend’ put her hands on the shoulder as a sign of support.
“Don’t stress over something you can’t control. Team Flare would have been carrying out their criminal activities regardless of what you could have done.” She supported me with gentle words.
The World Monarch looked still unsure of how true that can be.
“Ash! Let’s see the future and see if we find any connections with Team Flare in it, if we are watching something related to Kalos!” Alain commented to bolster optimism as he appeared within their presence.
He was unsure why he was here but while seeing Ash’s other friends and rivals, his role might have a lot of importance here and its association with Kalos meant that any info learnt can be correlated with their own timeline and acted upon accordingly.
“Alain! You have been brought here too?” Ash said in surprise. “Maybe we can find out what drove Team Flare to commit such acts!”
“Definitely something beyond just genocide since it makes no sense for a rich man to invest so much and just do what we know of. Let's not forget how much support he had from different groups in Kalos!” Serena answered while being unsure.
Given even some points she heard over the discussions, whatever she and others knew about Kalos Crisis seems very inconclusive especially if you consider that the wealthy made up a lot of their members which counters the general perception of poor or deranged committing such crimes.
Team Flare were insane from a certain perspective but whatever they did to Kalos is way beyond the work of some insane terrorists since destroying your own home region sounds stupid if logically thought over.
“There is a historical basis for it.” Clemont answered as he appeared with Bonnie after dealing with the Kalosian Gym Leader discussions, which have become too heated for his tastes but is necessary to attend especially with the viewpoint of a possible future that they are witnessing. Thankfully they are less rambunctious now, needing a brief moment of calm necessary in these circumstances.
“Historical basis? Anything to do with Lysandre’s royal lineage?” Alain asked in understanding. “I mean that it’s a common rumour while I was in Team Flare but not confirmed by any of them.”
Serena looked surprised in realisation then. “Does it have to do with the royal portraits in the Lumiose Museum which have some similarities with how Lysandre looks? Maybe that’s a coincidental take!”
“That’s an interesting place to visit if it has so many pokemon related things to see! We should go there sometime.” Ash answered in his more cheerful self.
The girl who is mentioned here, blushed and looked too embarrassed to respond to his words as the other boys looked away, knowing the unique dynamic between the two.
Clemont also had to shut Bonnie down, who appeared there and looked as if she wanted to make some unique comments.
It’s not the time to poke into that space. Let the relationship move at its own pace. They had all the time here.
The trio of Trevor, Tierno and Shauna along with Professor Sycamore were already present there, who observed these conversations with keen interest.
Kalos’s regional professor looked pleasantly happy from seeing the interactions between Ash and Serena, hoping that their connection works out properly and the Alolan champion did need a proper break.
“So there’s a discussion over Kalosian history and Lysandre’s origins, right?” Trevor asked, pointing at his distinct hair and then noting something down with one of the notebooks that were created for the viewing by Jirachi, placed on the seats. They look like any other normal notebook.
“Is his hair colour similar to my hairstyle? Some connection I understood from it.”
It turned out to be a yes from all the folks there from Kalos as well as from Ash too.
“Does that mean you have some royal lineage too?” Shauna asked with doubt. “I heard Clemont talking a bit about Lysandre and that point with the Gym Leaders.”
Clemont looked a bit annoyed at that assumption.
“I mean that it’s to highlight some connections but that may or may not be the case. Note that they have the picture of the ancient king’s brother who had dark brownish hair but a lot of their royal descendants have flaming red hair which resembles the fiery flare of the sun. That’s why they are named ‘Team Flare’ possibly but not sure with that naming connection. The red hair might have come from some other noble family and the royal family kind of got associated with it.”
“Also Trevor is not rich either so that doesn’t matter.” Tierno pointed out as the boy in question sighed regretfully. “But Zygarde’s question about me having another family connection feels confusing overall. I mean that it’s impossible but it can be a bigger query here, which maybe my mom can answer when we get back. But I'm not sure whether she can!”
The group went to and forth with their discussions on strange family connections, Kalos’s history and its relation with Lysandre and all about the strange situation they are in to watch the diverted timeline and all.
Maybe this is because most of them got to meet with each other after a long span of time.
Professor Sycamore just listened to them and mentally noted down their observations as it is possible those points may come handy with the showing of the future timeline which feels like a unique movie watching experience.
He saw almost everyone having taken their seats including the Team Rocket trio who got a seat far from others. It is a prudent decision given how focused Lance can be on arresting Team Rocket members. But they might be safer if they decide to leave the organisation anytime while being here.
“Your discussions must be interesting but the broadcast might start soon.” He requested to the group as they moved to their respective places though funny to see Ash being made insistent to sit with Serena in particular and hoped that it didn’t create any issues here.
As soon as everyone settled, Zygarde appeared again, producing a special compact device with a projecting lens like apparatus.
“Some points to keep in mind while watching this unique future. There will be a separate room created here to allow for personal conversations slotted for a limited time. Also the broadcast is generated from a written source so actual visuals that all of you will be viewing will extend beyond what is just shown on screen. This will make it different compared to a normal movie and do take note of any thoughts that are narrated since they have a lot of details that are needed for your understanding.”
The Legendary pokemon teleported out of the way there as the projecting device generated a unique High Definition Vibrant Coloured 3D projection of a certain densely packed residential neighbourhood where one particular white house with a flat roof is focused upon, with a rooftop garden being present there.
There must be some symbolism behind the showcase of this particular house itself though it seems confusing as to how this showing of the scene relates to the viewing of the future of the alternate Kalos, since it looks like a home located in a neighbourhood of a warmer region like Alola or Paldea.
Then some words appeared above it, which denoted “The ‘Un’-Chosen One” which shows strangely ominous in relation to what Zygarde told about this future and the suspiciously knowledgeable character who is driving the story-line in this future.
Ash looked half nervous at the title, knowing all what that he had suffered through in all accounts because of being the chosen one by many Legendaries and does not want to go through such an experience ever again.
He kept his excited look while watching the broadcast, suppressing those inner worries of turmoil, stress and fear since he had to appear imposing and reliable like all other champions here.
A conundrum that he is not sure how to express and resolve with his Pikachu and Serena feeling that internal multi-layered emotional turmoil too.
Let’s see what this alternate future Pokemon world will be like...
