Summary
He's still running. The night and day has blurred together, and there's no way to tell the time any more. He doesn't even register his limbs moving or hitting the cold ground, tiny stones probably pierce the soles of his feet and branches scratch his arms, a thousand paper cuts making him sting all over. Stopping seems impossible, the fear deep in his bones sends shock waves through his muscles and keeps him moving. He tries to glance over his shoulder, but the sweat and frenzy blur his vision. Hand and feet merge into one. He almost stumbles with every step. Red eyes keep appearing in the corners of his vision, never moving closer but never being too far away. He feels like crying, screaming into the darkness. He doesn't know the way forward, only that backwards means death.
Chans life is slowly but surely turning inside out. The start of senior year is stressful for everyone, but being thrown out of his childhood home and then meeting the local werewolf population sure put a strange twist on everything. And why does the new guy keep staring at him so much?
