    This is the story of Jean becoming the guardian of Amira - his niece.

    In the summer after Jean's second year with the Trojans, Stuart finds him and tells him that before dying, Elodie had a daughter, and that it's now Jean's decision, as her only living family, to keep her or put her in foster care.
    With the help of Jeremy, and then of Neil and Andrew in Columbia where Abby can keep an eye on them, Jean decides that his niece deserves a chance at happiness with him.
