Summary
Vox’s hand went to grab a fistful of Alastor’s hair, yanking it down to force Alastor to look up at him, Vox floating in front of him. “How does it feel, Al?”
The power dynamics in Hell do run uniquely. Contracts, overlords, every sinner who strives has a hunger for power under Hell’s foundation of social Darwinism.
Alastor, as all sinners really are, is only one of Hell’s victims of nature. For being Hell’s powerfulest sinner, it’s ironic how many struggles Alastor is bombarded with. As it is a common powerplay in Hell, rape and violation of one’s body and autonomy is rampant, even up in the ranks. Alastor is no stranger to being degraded and assaulted.
Alastor’s strength for composure is lacking, internally. Just as victim he is, Alastor is a violator. He can’t help it. His sanity is cracking under the constant pressure from traumatic rapes and forces of his hand.
He rapes, too. Does he gain from it, no, but a moment of feeling powerful. Power he has felt the experience of losing more times than be can count.
Husk is a convenient stressball. His soul under Alastor’s command, its easy for the cat to be dragged in. It’s only nature.
