Work Text:

Coiny was always someone Pin could rely on if she needed help. When she started getting weird feelings about Gaty, there would inevitably be the moment she asked Coiny for help on those feelings. Pin never was as good with emotions as he was. Of course, when he told her what he suspected, that practically shattered Pin's world. A crush?! Haha, NEVER! Romance was something never on her radar. Something she never did.

And yet, every time she thought about Gaty, her heart would skip a beat. Every time Gaty was with her, she'd feel anxious. And every single thing Pin would say about Gaty led back to the very obvious point. A crush. Romantic feelings. The solution to the puzzle. And the more she thought about it, the more she wanted to be transparent with Gaty. The more she wanted to admit to these feelings and show Gaty that there's always more to someone.

When it came to asking Coiny about how to confess, he clearly got giddy. He'd always been a bit of a shipper, someone who likes to spot pairs between other objects. Being given the task to help someone confess? Oh boy, he could NOT be happier. So, of course, Pin got all the tips. All of them. And was practically INTERROGATED for this. But it would be worth it, if Pin would trust anyone for help, it would be Coiny.

She currently had a pile of stuff in her room that Coiny had told her would be good for a confession. A box of homemade treats (Coiny was insistent on getting Gaty treats, and Pin made them herself because it felt more genuine to do it like that), an entire bouquet of flowers (Coiny went on and on about how to arrange the flowers), even a hand-written letter. He said all of those things would totally win her over and there was no way she'd say no. The last thing Pin added was something Coiny didn't tell her, but she wanted something entirely her idea. It was a recipe, the one for the cake they baked together.

Pin took a deep breath, planning to take all of these things to Gaty. She picked them up, and headed to the door. Before she could open it, though, someone knocked.

"Are you sure this is all you need?" Two asked.

Gaty nodded, "Yep! Thanks, Two."

"No problem!" Two smiled, "Tell me how that confession goes, alright?"

"I definitely will!" Gaty also smiled.

She took the things she made Two make for her - a small bundle of roses, and a small box of chocolates - and went down to Pin's room. Now she just had to knock on Pin's door and say the words. Yep, that's definitely easy! And not at all very difficult because of how amazing and wonderful and strong and brave Pin was. Gaty wasn't like that.

It was better to just get it over with. With a deep breath, Gaty looked at the door, closed her eyes, and lifted her foot... NOPE! She can't do this. Can she?

Opening her door, Pin was met with Gaty, nervously standing on the other side of her door with a bundle of roses and box of chocolates. Pin blinked, and found herself struggling to find words to say. She had something rehearsed in her head, but now things weren't going to plan! How was she supposed to confess now?

"Uh- Hi?" Pin asked, her voice wavering.

"H- hey Pin..." Gaty replied, not looking at the object in front of her.

The two of them stood in silence for a moment, before Pin broke it, "So... What are you here for?"

"Oh! I-" Gaty fumbled around with the things she brought, "I got, uh, got a few things... for you."

"Thanks! I... I also got stuff, for, for you, I was going to, well, I was just about to... bring them, uh, to you," Pin admits.

It was at this point Gaty looked at Pin, and realized, "Were you... were... uh... Were... Were you going to...?"

"I! Well, maybe! I..." Pin was really struggling with her words at this point, "...Yeah."

"I guess that makes two of us," Gaty lightly chuckled, breaking the tension.

Pin nodded, "Yeah, it does... I really went all out on this."

"I can see that!" Gaty smiled, "I didn't get as much for you."

"That's okay!" Pin reassured, "I can see you still cared a lot."

Gaty blushed, "Thanks... I love you."

"I love you too," Pin blushed, looking straight at Gaty.

Setting all the amazing things she had for Gaty on the floor, Pin leaned in, placing her hands on Gaty's sides. Gaty looked up in surprise, and neither of them said anything. Gaty simply nodded, giving Pin permission. The kiss wasn't perfect, but it didn't need to be. It felt alive, it felt magical. Pin couldn't ask for more from it. And neither could Gaty, because both of them now had what they wanted.
