Now, however, as Spencer turns around from his desk to see Morgan and Greenaway greeting Agent Grant Anderson with firm handshakes and polite small talk, he can only think one thing:
Am I a whore?
It’s not a phrase he is fond of, and it certainly isn't one he would use to describe another person. He's never had sex for money—not directly, anyway—and he's not a woman as the word typically connotes, but he certainly has had more than his fair share of casual sexual partners. Perhaps it would be more accurate to call himself a slut? A trollop? Easy?
It's something he will have to spend some time researching etymology to get to the bottom of later. Much, much later.
