Achilles, it's not much but there's proof.
"Gods, this song is fucking depressing," Ko said as she knocked down a third glass of beer and slammed it on the table, before wincing at the look on the bartender's face. "Sorry, forgot this was glass."
"It is pretty depressing. But I dunno, it has a kinda nice ring to it. A softness, maybe." Pixel's legs swung back and forth metres off the ground. "Reminds me of you."
Ko's cheeks flushed re, not just from alcohol. "Shut up." She flexed a muscle and grinned drunkenly, turning around to face someone in the corner. "Hey! Hey, Johnny! D'you -- d'you think I'm soft?"
"Ko," a man at a corner table called back, " if I did say that you were you'd promptly prove me wrong. Violently. So for my own safety, I'm gonna say no."
"Heh. Johnny knows what's up." Ko turned back to Pixel. "See? Not even a lil bit soft."
Pixel raised an eyebrow.

Pixel looked down into her drink, stirring it to watch the shimmer powder ripple to the surface.
"I've never heard a song this depressin' before," Ko slurred. "Hey, what's in that fucking, uh, fruity thingy drink you got there?"
"Oh, this? It's a Sex on the Beach. You can try it if you want."
"Ooh, Sex on the Beach, you minx."
Pixel took a sip, and nectar coated her already glossy lips to make them drip with fruity sugar while her napkin lay, very purposefully, untouched next to her. Her magenta eyes flashed towards Ko's lips briefly.
Ko hesitated for a moment. "No. This song is too fuckin' depressing to do anything fun." She ran a finger over Pixel's lips, sticking it under her mouth and sucking the syrup off her finger. "That's a good cocktail though."
