Summary
The tension lingering between the Unseelie and Seelie courts was supposed to be put on hold for the most important night of the year, celebrating the 25th birthday of the Unseelie Crown Prince. Yet for some, such as the Seelie Hand-in-waiting, Song Mingi, it became worse as he suddenly found himself more often in the presence of a certain Unseelie soldier, Jeong Yunho. That night, amidst cutting a birthday cake and an illicit duel, marked a forever change in their already estranged relationship as boundaries were crossed and feelings were involved.
The question remained if both parties could put their differences aside, fulfil their rightful duties for their courts, or be the flare of their demise.
