In the wake of Thjazi Fang’s execution, the houses of shadow and flame announce a plan to strengthen the union between them. Of course, it’s all a thinly veiled excuse for each of them to explore new avenues of subterfuge, using their sons to attempt to gain the upper hand on the other.
It’s funny, then, that they didn’t foresee their pawns turning against the both of them, working alongside revolutionaries and arcanists to turn the tables and take their houses down from the inside.
Though, of course, nothing is ever that simple.

When i first wrote a couple of silly bullet points for this premise several months ago, i never would have imagined it would turn into something like this. But here we are!
