Max and Charles are best friends, like, Charles doesn’t care if Max is baby, they’re best friends forever and ever. Daniel and Jenson find their friendship adorable and lets them have playdates a lot. Like now, they are going to have a playdate at Charles house this time!! Max hasn’t seen Charles’s home before, but from what he has heard from Charles, it’s going to look great! “How old are you today, Maxie?” Daniel asks Max, Max thinks for a moment. “Bigger!” Max holds up three fingers. “That’s so big! Okay, you ready?” Max nods and gets up, he hasn’t tied his shoes though. “Let me help you with that.” Max sits back down and lets Daniel tie them. “Okay, you’re done, let’s go see Charles!” Daniel takes his hand and they leave.
They go to Jenson and Charles’ apartment which isn’t far away and Daniel knocks on the door. Jenson answers. “Oh! Max, Daniel! Come in!” He steps aside and lets the two go in. “Charles! Maxie is here!” Jenson yells, Charles comes running once Max gets his shoes off. “Maxie!” He exclaims. “Charlie!!” They hug, kissing each other on the cheek. Daniel and Jenson look at each other and smile. “Let’s play!” Charles grabs Max’s hand and they run off. “I fully thought Max would be baby today.” Says Jenson, he almost always says that. “That’s what baby Verstappen does to you.” They both laugh. “Alright, heh- do you want some coffee?” Jenson asks, getting a nod.
In Charles’ room, he shows everything. “And Charlie got a race car bed, Maxie!” Max sees it and gasps. “Ooooh!” He jumps into the bed and lays there, Charles giggles. “Charlie think you’re funny, Maxie.” Charles says, Max never bullies Charles for saying “Charlie” instead of “I”. “I think you is funny too, Charlie.” He responds, sitting up. Charles leads him to the toy box and he opens it. “This is my Rarri.” He shows a toy Ferrari race car. “Ooh, I has one too.” Max says. “Match?” Charles asks, Max nods. “Match!” He grins. “Oh!” Charles closes the box and goes into his closet, Max tilts his head. Charles comes out. “Let’s make friendship bracelets!” Max loves bracelets! He nods and they squeal before sitting down on the rug.
They make a one red with Charles’s name and one blue with Max’s. “Here.” Charles puts the blue one on Max and he giggles. “For Charlie!” Max puts the one with Charles’ name on Charles. “Charlie love it!” They hug and give each other a kiss on the cheek. “Wanna play cars now Maxie?” Max nods and they scramble to the toy box again. Max looks around and grabs a Mercedes one. “Aw- is still packaged.” He says. Almost everything Charles has is still in the package. “Is okay, Charlie know how to open it.” Charles opens it and takes it out, giving it to Max. Max takes it and sits down on the checkered rug. “Charlie be his Ferrari.” Says Charles, taking it. “What will they do, Charlie?” Max asks, Charles thinks for a moment and then looks around in the toy box. “They’ll be farmers!” He holds up a yellow barn playset and Max laughs, it’s a great idea!
Charles sits down and opens it, the stables are empty. “Awww.” They both say. “Charlie got something!” Charles gets up again and rushes into the closet. Max hears the sounds of tiny wheels. Charles comes back and sits on his knees. He puts down some small f1 lego cars and puts them behind the gates. “There, solved?” Charles tilts his head. “Yes!” Max giggles, Charles is about to start when Max gasps. “They need a house!” Charles looks around and confirms that. “Charlie has one!” He goes to the toy box yet again and grabs a unboxed sylvanian families red roof grand mansion. He puts it down in front of Max and Max has wide eyes. “This?” Charles asks, Max nods. They somehow manage to get it put together without the help of Jenson or Daniel and then they finally start playing. After 3 hours, Daniel and Max have to go home.
“Quokka?” Daniel opens the door to Charles’s room and Max stops his herding of the little toy cars. “Yeas, dada?” He answers, Daniel grins at the scene. “We gotta go home, I bet you and Charles had fun, but we gotta get home for dinner.” He says, Max nods and gets up, putting the Mercedes down, Charles puts his Ferrari down and follows them. In the hallway, Max gets his shoes on, then he turns to Charles. They hug and kiss each other on the cheek before saying bye. Once Max and Daniel are gone, Charles turns to Jenson. “Daddy?” He asks. “Yes, Charles?” Jenson answers. “Can Charlie have a sleepover with Maxie?” Charles asks, doing the puppy eyes for good measure. “Ohhh Charles.” Jenson giggles. “Of course, I’ll ask Daniel in a moment.” Charles squeaks happily. Yay!!
