Summary
It was his second heat since arriving in the Barrel; the first one he’d locked himself in his room at the boarding house. He was lucky the other omegas at the house had burned incense outside his room, not allowing any alphas to draw near. He didn’t have that community here, not. now. Here, all he had was his own rotting scent, his hands, and his burning skin.
It was horrible, being in this new place without more than a blanket and a sheet, unable to nest. He was lonely, his body longing for companionship. It was made worse by the omega a few doors down.
