Summary
Tom had never considered himself a man of overflowing appetites. He’d had his encounters, of course, but he’d always experienced them as something casual and unimportant almost anecdotal, because he never felt the urgency to pursue sex with the desperation that seemed to drive the rest of the world. Unlike his friends, specifically Matt and Tord (since the one in the green hoodie was more relaxed about it), they never missed an opportunity to brag or discuss their conquests without a shred of shame. Especially Tord, who seemed to delight in describing every dirty, morbid, or fetishistic nuance of his nightly escapades in graphic detail.
