Chapter Text
(please note that this takes place when Hvyrotation and Snowbird went down into the machine underground so they would try to cure Hvyrotation since Snow decided to sacrifice himself to cure him. Though after Jaw and PrinceZam left, Micro heads down to see them. I did just skip a few parts of the whole scene and stuff but I’m trying to keep it close to what exactly happened, If that makes any sense lmao)
He was stupid. He walked right into the small chamber after Mike had said there was something under the copper floor. And now he's locked in. He should’ve never came down here…
Rotation stood behind the iron door of the small chamber. He watched Mike and Snow carefully as they spoke to one another out of ear distance. “Can’t you let me out?” Rotation said quickly, though he got no reply.
God, why did I tell them I was infected? I should’ve not done that. I’m such a idio-
Venus had reappeared behind him. There was a shift in the air, like a cold gust of wind. Rotation turned to look at her. In this moment, He had wished that she could somehow open the lever to the door. But she was just his dead friend he left behind, wasn’t she?
“You’re Gullible, You let this happen” Venus said calmly. Rotation stared at her as she spoke, not saying anything yet. Venus chuckled.
Some part of me wants to live but the other part not so much. I don’t know what to think of this.
“You thought Mike died in front of you once. If he dies this time, his death will be on you” Venus said, still calm.
Rotation thought about her words before saying, “Yeah. I-I guess that would be my fault”.
He hoped Mike won’t sacrifice himself for him, or even the old man. No one deserved to sacrifice themselves for him. He didn’t deserve it.
“I’m glad that you know it. You seem to be at fault for everything. It’s a shame that the old man was going to sacrifice himself to save you” Venus continued on. She walked around the small room slowly.
“I-I didn’t really want to. Everyone wanted me to do the machine and get cured but perhaps I tell myself that” Rotation says slowly as his words stutter out. He muttered out the last part, though it could still be heard.
Venus then spoke, “You know, you tell yourself a lot of things”. Her words were still calm.
”I guess I do, don’t I?” Rotation said back. Maybe He does just tell himself random things.
Rotation looked back at the iron door and where he would see Snow and Mike. When he turned to look at Venus again, she was gone. Of course she was.
Rotation sighed slowly as He moved to sit against the wall of the small room? Was this even a room? It’s more of a testing tub or something, he wasn’t so sure.
After a few minutes, Snow had appeared in front of the iron door. Rotation stood up immediately and walked to it before speaking, “Are you going to let me out now?”.
Old man Snow spoke, “No. How long do you have left do you reckon?”
Rotation stared at Snow. He could lie and say he had a day left but they already knew he had less time. Rotation sighed slowly before speaking, “An hour”. Snow then left to go speak with Mike. He should’ve just lied.
Rotation moved as he sat back down against the wall of the small room he was in. He opened his book as he looked at past writings he put. I should’ve just ran away from the group when I had the chance. I doubt I have time.
After a while, Meagon and Gray arrived as they spoke with Snow and Mike. Rotation heard voices so he stood up as Gray was in front of the iron door. “Hey Rotation. It’s not your fault alright?” Gray was trying her best to make it seem like everything was going to be okay. Of course everything isn’t okay. They were going to have someone sacrifice themselves to cure him. He didn’t want another life dead because of him.
Rotation looked at Gray through the bars of the door. “What isn’t Gray? You should be the one in here, not me!” Rotation said frustrated.
“You have less time then me Rotation” Gray said calmly. There was a small plead hidden in her voice.
Rotation then spoke, “You deserve it more than me, I already caused too much damage” he said slowly. He didn’t look her in the eyes when he had said that. I don’t want to cured
Gray then kept talking to him, “No no no no, don’t say stuff like that. You do deserve to be cured Rotation. Please would you allow that?”.
Rotation was done talking so he didn’t talk anymore. Gray left as she spoke with the others. He stood leaning against the wall, he stared at his hands.
After a few minutes, Rotation heard shouting and crying. He perked his head up and went to the iron door to see what was happening. He watched as Meagon, Snow, and Gray was watching the other testing pod. Where’s Mike? He’s not going to- he can’t
Rotation watched as Gray cried. Rotation found himself immediately talking to them, “Is Mike in there?”. Gray was sobbing now. Meagon was holding her. That only confirmed Rotation’s question.
Rotation tried banged his fist against the iron door. “Mike please don’t do this!” Rotation found himself pleading. If Mikes does this, he can’t ever forgive himself. Shit- what can he do? Please don’t do this Mike-
Before Rotation could think of anything else, There was a loud ringing noise and a flick of a stone mechanic device.
