"He didn’t think the lieutenant known as Yanqing would be that weak when he fought him over in Dragonprayer Terrace. Blade needed to know for sure if he was really that weak, or maybe he was holding back because of Dan Heng. Although even if Blade considered Yanqing to be weak, he was only weak compared to him, not necessarily weak in general. There was a reason he was a lieutenant and not just a soldier. In fact, he was too young to be a lieutenant. But Jing Yuan put an insane amount of responsibility on him because of his potential as a swordsman. And that pressure of living up to that responsibility was showing.
