Summary
Ilya Rozanov and Shane Hollander meet by complete chance. Their chances just get better and better, and they get closer and closer. Ilya doesn't understand what about Shane is different than the many women--and men-- he's been with in the past. Shane hates how effortless everything is for Ilya and how good he looks doing it.
Shane is forced to navigate the difficulty of being a gay, Asian-Canadian, hockey player in a hostile enviroment like the collegate hockey scene.
Ilya has grim reminders of home on every corner, a stain of where he will have to return if this doesn't work out. He would live his life knowing he would never be able to be himself, or worse, he'd go back to living without Shane.
Something Ilya has long forgotten.
As Shane overcomes racsism and homophobia, he meets someone who would (and does) beat the breaks off of someone for him.
And it's his roommate.
