   Summary

   They all ran to see what he found, and when everyone was there, he held up a little black journal. Everyone was pretty confused.

   “It’s Dal’s. I’ve seen him write in it before. I mean, he was really quick about hiding it under his pillow, but I’m sure it’s his.” Two-Bit had said.

   “How? I thought Dally had been terrible at writing stuff. He dropped out of school really young.” Darry had said, gently taking the journal from Two-Bit.

   Two-Bit shrugged. “I mean, yeah, but I guess he was using this to practice? I don’t know, man.”

   Darry quickly flipped through the pages, then his hand covered his mouth. “Yeah, It’s Dal’s.”

   OR

   The Curtis gang finds Dally's notebook under a streetlight a few days after his suicide. They read it and discover many things they never knew about Dallas Winston. Some things that they never wanted to know about Dallas Winston.
