Summary
A sin of the past has caused war to loom at the egde of the Travesdibien empire, but in a land scathed by drought the future is uncertain. Having been forced between the fronts and in danger of an attack, the Mitalenien dukedom is forced to take a side.
A treaty is formed between Travesdibien and Mitalenien, promising military protection in exchange for resources. To ensure the fullfilment of this treaty the countries shall be united by blood through a marital bond.Seventeen years later, the young prince of Mitalenien stands at the edge of the bridge once formed, forced to cross it into a bond with a man he has never met. Will the weight of the ancient crown cause it to crumble or will he traverse it and fullfill his duty?
Nevertheless, this is not the only hurdle he has to cross as in a place of ancient myths, political games and war stricken lands secrets lie buried beneath rotten fields and withered forests that if revealed could destroy the world as he knows it or build it anew.
