About the new video
ANNOUNCEMENT
An update on the upcoming video:
As you know, the original plan was to dive into the story of Father Matthias Vargus and his doomsday cult scam. His website permeverum got taken offline almost immediately after the scam was exposed, but thankfully, a lot of it is archived through the wayback machine. I've also come into contact with someone who was following the story as it unfolded and saved almost every post from Father Vargus' website before it got nuked.
Let me tell you, this led me down the strangest rabbit hole I've maybe ever seen. Now, I'm still going to cover the original story of per me verum in my upcoming video, because it's important context for what I really want to talk about, but the main focus is going to be what Father Vargus referred to as "the blindfolded man".
At first, I assumed this character was just another elaborate bit as part of his hoax, but the way he talked about him didn't really line up with his usual storytelling. I'm going to go into further detail on this in the upcoming video but for now, what's important is that throughout my research, the blindfolded man kept catching my eye.
Then one day during my investigation, I got an e-mail (if you have a topic you think could be interesting enough for a video, I take suggestions at [email protected] or through the suggestions channel in my Discord) directing me to this post in r/Parenting. It'll also be covered in the video. Because it also mentions the blindfolded man, though the OP doesn't call him that.
The OP describes "a man dressed in a purple uniform with bandages wrapped around his eyes and white hair that stands up straight", which matches Vargus' descriptions exactly.
I know this might be a long shot but if you, or anyone you know, ever encountered a person like that, please refer to my e-mail above or the evidence channel in my Discord, or reply right here. Anything helps. The video is going to be huge.

it got completely nuked almost immediately after the blindfolded man video. there's reuploads of almost all their other stuff on youtube, but that one in particular keeps getting taken down. idk man. the creator completely disappeared afterwards as far as i know, discord + patreon are gone too. think the only reason this sub is still there is because it was still relatively small at the time.

Therapy isn't helping

Hi everyone,
my eight year old has been in therapy for close to a year now after something that happened to him. The problem is that I still don't know what it was. Last year, he went missing for two days. He claimed he got chased in the woods by a monster that looked like a giant snake with "too many eyes" that wanted to eat him. He told me the snake swallowed him whole and that he spent two days inside its stomach. Every time I asked about it, he would tell me the exact same story. He would draw pictures all the time; of the snake and of the man who saved him.
I figured this was some sort of trauma response and that he would talk about the real story whenever he felt ready to. I got him a therapist immediately and he's been doing well with her. His nightmares have almost completely stopped, and he rarely needs a nightlight anymore. He's been sleeping in his own bed consistently for the past six months. He started playing outside again. But his story hasn't changed.
He still claims that he was chased and then eaten by a snake, and that he spent two days inside its stomach before he was saved. I don't know what to do anymore. Am I just being impatient? Is this normal? Does it even matter if he's doing well otherwise? Should I look into other forms of therapy?
Any input is appreciated.
EDIT: Please stop referring me to religious sites or subreddits discussing paranormal experiences. I do not believe in any god or supernatural beings. I am a mother trying to help her son and I find it incredibly tone-deaf to suggest that people who mistake specks of dusts for ghosts have anything in common with my son and his very real trauma.

It is. I met the man. He brought my son to the hospital and was there when I arrived after they called me. He said he found my son passed out in the woods while he was on a hike. To keep my privacy, I won't go into any details regarding police investigations, but I'm confident he didn't have anything to do with my son's disappearance. I don't know anything about him and I haven't been able to get in contact with him since. I tried finding him online because he had a rather particular look, but nothing useful came up.

A little strange, if I'm being honest. He was dressed in a purple jacket and pants, had white bandages wrapped around his eyes and his hair stood up straight. It was also white. He wasn't old, though.

I almost died
EXPERIENCE
I want to start this off by saying I don't really believe in the paranormal. But I don't know what the fuck happened to me. For context, I work in a retirement home, been in the same one for about three years at this point.Eight months ago, one of my patients died. I found her on the roof at night. I have no idea how she got up there, but she wasn't alone.
I also found a monster. I don't know how else to describe it. I'm not even sure I can fully describe what I saw. I've tried therapy, but no one I've talked to has ever taken my story seriously. I don't blame them. I probably wouldn't either, but I need you to believe me. I swear to god this fucking happened, alright.
There was a monster. I'm not religious but when I stepped on that roof I thought I was seeing the devil. It was huge, so big that the concrete cracked. I can't even tell you what it looked like. A squid, maybe, but also not really. It was gigantic and it had this big mouth that was really just a giant hole with way too many teeth. And it was eating my patient. I swear to you I stepped on that roof and it was holding my patient's corpse in one of its gigantic octopus arms and it swallowed her whole. And then it saw me and I didn't even have time to think about running away before another arm shot out and caught me by the ankle.
It swallowed me too. I need you to believe me when I say this. I went down that beast's throat and into its stomach and I was convinced I was dead. I wasn't sure if I was going to die in there or if I already had, but I knew my life was over either way. I've never been this scared in my entire goddamn life.
The next thing I know is that its upper body exploded. I don't know how or why, but suddenly it was raining bits of flesh and purple goo all around me and I was free again. I was sitting when it happened, and a man stepped forward and offered me his hand to help me up.
He was really fucking casual about the whole thing. Didn't even mention it. He just said "Hi" and pulled me up. He had white hair, but he wasn't old I think. Somewhere in his twenties, probably. And he had these bandages wrapped around his eyes but it seemed like he could see perfectly fine with them on. He gave them to me after he couldn't find a tissue on him. "So you can clean up," he said.
Then he told me to go home for the night, that someone was already in contact with my boss, gave me a thumbs up and then he vanished. I swear. He just fucking blipped out of existence. I promise I'm not making any of this up. I tried asking my boss about it, but he refused to talk about any of it. The roof got fixed, they told my patient's family that she died in her sleep and that was the end of it.
I know I'm not crazy. I know what I saw. I know what I experienced. I'm pretty sure my boss is planning to fire me because I won't let this story go, but I can't. I need to know what happened. Has anyone ever experienced anything similar? Does this sound familiar to anyone? I'm getting kind of desperate.
