Mother of Everything

Summary:

I really wanted to lean in on the joke that Katie was actually a god. I think it’s funny that the most clueless person was actually a higher being lmao

(edited slightly)

Notes:

inspired by a tweet from @hvsky9. I used some quotes cuz they are pretty smart.

also note (I say this on basically all my works) I’m not a writer. So there are probably confusing words and jumbled sentences lmao.

(See the end of the work for more notes.)

Chapter Text

…Quiet

It was quiet… very quiet, and boring. Being alone in nothingness, though- “nothingness.” was something, even empty space is a container, filled with potential for particles, and physical laws, which are all "somethings.”

Anyway.

Not actually being to see the evolution of all the life forms she has created, it got lonely.

She was the “Mother of Everything” yet not knowing anything, it made her feel… weird. She felt alone. Was she really considered a ‘Mother’ ? She never nurtured anything she created.

She wants to be there, to actually see how far life had evolved.

So that’s exactly what she did. Somehow she created her own human body, a vessel. She called her new body, Katie B. Her own human form she can take over and finally care for everything she had made. She finally began to transfer her mind inside.

well… that’s what she tried to do. It failed somehow, barely any of her god knowledge had gone into her now human form. She was sent down in a place unknown, it was a bit overwhelming after being in a place where there was originally nothing (yet she forgot about that empty space). But she knew she wasn’t here originally.

She walked, and walked… and walked many miles… until she finally heard noise. Lots of noise, she went closer. Her people? Houses? Buildings… she made her way on a sidewalk, before deciding she was going to go up to someone and ask where she was.

“Excuse me… where am I?” A bold thing to ask.

Confused, but the stranger responded, “Kentucky, why, are you lost?”

Katie blankly stared at the stranger,“… Kentucky.” She repeated, before continuing on with her walk to no where in particular.

Leaving the stranger confused on why a grown woman seemed so lost.

She hummed as she looked around at her new surroundings, surprisingly, she had quickly adjusted to the environment. Getting new clothes with money she somehow obtained, a pink suit with some nice rose glasses that hid her pretty eyes. She looked at a full body mirror and adjusted up straight, grinning. Her first real emotion as a human, yet- it somehow felt natural.

…A couple days past (sorry for abrupt time-skip)

She was snoring in an alleyway, her bed for the night- If you could even call it that, was a piece of cardboard. She was somehow able to sleep, though… a piece of paper was thrown at her face from the midnight wind. She woke up with a groan, yanking the sheet off from her and tiredly sitting up. Running a hand through her hair and she glanced down at what the paper’s text contained.

“A cruise?” She mumbled, “…free?”

Well, if it was free… she might as well. It was tomorrow morning anyways, so she tore off the ticket from the bottom and put it into her pocket. Going back to her, uncomfortable, bed.

Morning came a couple hours later, the sun slowly rising as she yawned. Her feathers poof-ed as she got up, she put on her glasses and her hair into a neat low bun.

“oh-!” She remembered the ticket in her pocket, she took it out and walked to the boarding dock. (Don’t ask how she found it, idk either.) She glanced around at all the people who seemed to be there for the cruise as well, humming as she walked too the crowd.

This could be fun!
