    • Okay so in this au Alastor died and went to Heaven centuries ago
    • However his mother didn’t want to see him and claimed he should have gone to Hell
    • So Alastor joined Heaven’s army to try and prove his worth to her
    • It took him centuries but he became a General of Heaven though he never had his legions participate in Extermination Day
    • Heaven then decided they wanted to send an elite soldier to infiltrate Lucifer’s inner circle and assassinate him
    • Alastor was chosen for this mission and the High Angels were very heartless about the fact that all the previous soldiers they sent died
    • Michael gave Alastor pills that transform him into a Sinner for a year. He has 100 pills and therefore 100 years to complete his mission
    • Adam (who is Alastor’s obnoxious neighbour) delights in Alastor’s misfortune and laughs as Alastor falls from Heaven
    • There is a lot of world building in this story. Hell is an actual monarchy where the Overlord have different noble titles depending on their strength
    • The weak Overlords are Barons and the strongest Overlords are Dukes
    • “Alastor could already feel his irritation growing exponentially. This was the Lord's beloved son? He was simply a gnome driven mad by power!”
    • For the first few years Alastor lived with an older demon who saw him as a son. He ran a small Hell horse farm and Alastor grew to love horses
    • Alastor then become the castle manager (basically the head Butler) of Lucifer’s castle and left the man’s farm
    • Alastor is OOC but it makes sense in this au. Obviously if he is an Angelic General he is going to despise Sinners
    • Bottom Alastor

    • Lilith and Lucifer are still technically married but have been separated for centuries
    • However Lilith is the person Lucifer can have a child with so they are still trying (Though only Lucifer wants the baby)
    • But after hundreds of miscarriages Lucifer is looking hope. Alastor offers to do a voodoo ritual to ensure the child survives
    • The ritual works but Lilith attempts to abort Charlie at about 7 months
    • Alastor is furious at Lilith and cuts the baby out of her to try and save them
    • But the baby was already dead by the time he got her out of Lilith. So Alastor gives her his Halo to act as her heart
    • This story has strong ‘Beauty and the Beast’ vibes. Lucifer is just as bad at wooing Alastor as the Beast was at wooing Belle
    • Great song for this fic is “Losing Control” “Ready For War” and “Already Over”
    • There is definitely a power dynamic in their relationship but in a dark romance way rather than abusive
    • I have read to chapter 38
