Summary
Dennis shivered slightly as the cold seeped into his clothes, deep into scars and cuts. He sighed shakily, looking out on the roof. Jack Abbot opens the door, unexpectedly running into Whitaker. ‘He’s never on the roof. Why is he here?’ Dennis was already dangerously close to the edge, Jack froze.
Whitaker hummed a song, taking the cigarettes from a box that Santos had quit, He lit the cigarette, only warmth in this winter. Jack slowly walked to the railing, to not scare Whitaker. Jack softly spoke up “Hey, Whitaker you smoke?” Dennis blinked, zoning out a little. “Uh-yeah, didn’t expect to see you this early, Dr. Abbot.” He said sounding slightly nervous, like he was in trouble.
Or Whitaker finds himself less focused and caring for life anymore. Jack and Robby try to figure out what’s wrong, with the help of an angry patient.
