Grace silently damns himself for introducing him to yet another slang word that will surely come back to bite him. “Ehh— yeah. It’s slang, it means— arousing.”
Rocky shifts back and forth, as if considering this. “Understand,” is all he says, and Grace prays to the God that put him here that he drops it.
“Humans think Grace hot, question?”

Or; It’s a long road to Erid. How morally wrong is it to capitalize off of cultural differences for personal gain, exactly? (Consider: Ryland wants it Real bad.)
** I ask you very politely to ignore inconsistencies in both Rocky’s “shell” (to keep both him and Grace in their respective atmospheres) and with Rocky’s translator (for when he learns a new word) for ease of story. I’m aware that there are potential issues with Ryland not entering new words/Rocky being able to touch him the way I describe, but suspend your beliefs Please !!! Promise it’s worth it. And I BEG you to ignore my haphazard descriptions of Rocky’s biology. We have fun here.
