Summary:
A reading of The Pride of McGill....David Hollander by everythingsflux
The NHL keeps a Central Registry of every team’s Emergency Backup Goaltender, or EBUG, an individual who must be prepared to play for either the home or visiting team should both goalies be taken out of commission. When the Registry was digitized in the mid 90’s a clerical error was made, and David Hollander has remained on file as Montreal’s EBUG. When Boston plays a preseason game in Montreal at the beginning of the 2017/2018 season, both of their goalies are taken out and David Hollander suddenly finds himself in the net in Boston black and yellow.

also shoutout to cindala for suggesting I read this one, I had a lot of fun with it ^^ sorry to take so long to get to it lmao I had a never ending cold and this is the first fic I've read without massive following vocal strain in over a month, which is a win, since it's the longest podfic I've recorded so far
if you have any fics in mind that you'd want an audio version of - yours or others, self promo especially is encouraged - then by all means suggest it and I'll check it out and see if I'm up for it.
