Chapter Text
...
"Fuck."
They mumbled under their breath, staring at their wall while laying at their side.
...
Still unable to sleep as usual.
.........
WELL OKAY THEN.
THATS JUST GREAT.
They frustratedly whined, face twisting into a soured expression, on the verge of crying from.. whatever they were feeling.
All alone.
Whining around.
Just wanting to fall asleep in their bedroom.
And finally have some rest.
...
But NOoOooOOoOoO!! THATS JUST TOO MUCH TO ASK THEIR LITTLE LOVE SICKENED BRAIN-!
Tears pricked at their eyes, as their feelings kept twisting and tightning in their heart.
They didnt know how they felt.
I mean really?
Noli and them were just friends.
Like always.
They always were.
Nothing more.
They had just no reason to be in love with him.
..............
So WHY were their own feelings betraying them???
And at this hour to????
They were the "Creation of Hatred.",
Not the creation of sobbing at the ass crack of dawn, no sleep in their body, and their mind filled with a sudden unsureness that snuck in like a traitor in their mind.
They fantasiesed about just some sort of end to this emotion.
Just some sort of medicine,
Some sort of cure,
Anything.
They'd do anything to just have all of this wiped from their mind.
*knocknocknock*
They were startled by the sudden little creak of the door, slasher coming in out of concern for them.
"Uh- hey dude- uh- its just- uh- what'dya need?"
...
He just stared, before tilting his head, a silent little reverse of the question, asking what THEY need.
"...ah, its just-.. its complicated- just-"
They began to sniffle, water works already getting to them.
He came closer, before sitting at the edge of the bed, ready to listen, as they sat up and next to him, letting out a sigh, leaning against him as he put a arm around them in comfort, ready to be a little listening buddy.
♡
They both spent the night just exchanging comfort.
They spent their time ranting about their complex feelings about noli, how they felt stuck and lost, not knowing what to do.
Being comforted by the silent listening he was giving.
While he sat near and listened, not moving, not interupting, just staying and being a soothing pillar of understanding.
Being comforted by getting to know he was helping them relax,
And it sure as hell worked, they didnt notice it but every small part of the moment was a tiny but effective piece to the puzzle of them falling asleep.
How they were leaning against him.
How having their tears wiped by him brought a wash of calmness to them.
All of it,
Slowly lead them to fall asleep against him,
Eventually like after 5 minutes of silence only then he realized, a little embarassed by how long it took, but he slowly moved them off him, and tucked them in, before getting up and walking out, shutting the door quietly.
