Hei phoned Wu that Xie was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease. Eventually he even forgot anyone including his lover Hei. Amazingly, Xie still remembered Wu. So Wu took Xie back to their childhood hometown after Wu planned to recover Xie's memory with Hei.
Hei therefore served as their driver and played the violin on the street, hoping to evoke Xie's memory. Xie finally recovered temporarily. Hei bade fair to Wu, stating it was his responsibility to take care of all the remaining things.
