Summary
Dennis was an ever-moving vampire, unable to still and breathe. He couldn't not be moving. After–what 100 years?–of boredom, Dennis decided to try something new. A new job. He was pretty good at his current one, being a veterinarian, but they were starting to catch onto him not aging in the past 15 years. So now he had to move on. He's had a lot of jobs by now: priest, teacher, farmer, artist, musician, police officer, firefighter, paramedic, and veterinarian. Sure, he had a lot of money now, so much so he might as well be a millionaire, but he just can't stand still. So what would be his next move? To become a doctor, obviously. He practically already knew all he needed to, he just needed to dumb himself down a bit so no one questions him. And hope no one notices his unhuman-like state any time soon.
And hope he can ignore the pull he's feeling towards Dr. Robinavitch. His blood just smells so good.
Or: Dennis is a vampire and is starting a new job, but can't ignore the smell of his attendings blood.
