   My heart is racing as I sit on my bunk. I don’t wanna go into a coma, but there is no way I can stay awake for another two years!
   “Be brave for once!” I say to myself. “Co…Computer, Induce Coma”
   I close my eyes, I don’t wanna see the arms coming for me.
   “Inducing coma” the robot confirms. I feel the stitch of the IV in my arm. Maybe this is a bad idea?

   Or

   The Thaumoeba didn’t evolve to get through xenonite and Ryland Grace is going home. To not turn crazy being alone for four years he goes into a coma for the second half of the journey.
