   The stars were dying.
   No, actually…
   The stars died.

   They had looked to the heavens, watching their saving grace travel for years before one day, it just disappeared. Despite humanity's best efforts, their Hail Mary never made it to Tau Ceti. Factions of humans left Earth, a last-ditch effort to survive. And they watched as the stars quietly disappeared and solar systems grew cold. Humans turned into scavengers, finding any and all resources the corpse of the universe had to offer. With each century, it became even more apparent that the light of humanity would fade like the stars if they didn’t find their salvation. Perhaps life thriving in an ocean of blood had the answers.

   BloodyMary where Ryland Grace is subjected to the horrors of the world of Iron Lung, and Simon is his savior. I’ve read a lot of healing, comfort stories where Simon somehow lands on Erid but have yet to see the reverse, sooooooo why not try my hand and traumatize the sunshine character a little bit more <3 I promise I won't hurt him…too much :)
