Humans were thought to have fully died, but the human spirit endures. In the new world, humans resurface from their underground safe havens to find that their world is so different, yet so similar. Now they have to deal with the new world at their feet, extremist organizations, interspecies politics and relations, new ways of living, and all the complications that comes when two worlds meet. Will humans and the new SeaLife be able to co-exist, or will one of them die out in a war for global dominance?
