the ultimate poet.
You couldn't remember a time after getting the invitation that you weren't grinning wildly. hope's peak was a big deal, after all.
And today? today was finally the day. the day you would walk in and greet your fellow classmates, ready to conquer the world with your hope, as well as your expertise in writing and poetry.
You stood in front of the gate, prepared to meet all these extraordinary people.
However, when you stepped in..
The world began to twist around you, warping into images unknown to your mind. You could feel your body getting heavy, your breathing quickening, your eyes drifting to some place as they gave up on their muscles working, the feeling of fallin-
And then you woke up. Lying down on a desk, you jolted up in fear, before the exhaustion of recently waking up set in.
You groaned, wiping your eyes and looking around yourself. It was just an empty classroom, except for what seemed to be another student waking up right after you. nervously, you approached the boy, only for him to fling his arm at you in an attempt to defend himself. though, after noticing your shocked expression, he softened slightly, understanding you were in the same situation as him.
You introduced yourselves to each other, learning the boy's name was Makoto Naegi. Shortly after, you began speaking about where you could possibly be, coming to the conclusion shortly after that you were in hope's peak. So, you exited the classroom, leading him on the way.
Soon enough, you found were everyone else was, nervousness overcoming you. however, Makoto simply introduced himself and you, and you made a mental note to thank him for that later.
After a while of introductions, and small talk, a voice blared from a tv in the corner of the room. the noise made your head snap towards the sound in shock, your neck making a slight cracking noise. you rubbed the back of your neck in pain, groaning yet still listening to the tv.
It gave instructions to simply go to the gym and even when you wondered what for, it unfortunately couldn't read your mind to tell you.
So, you sucked it up, and headed towards the gym.
