    Summary

Just when Cassandra thought her luck couldn't get any worse, fate played a right cruel trick on her: she got accidentally sent back to 1977, twenty years into the past. And to top it all off, she couldn't see a bloody thing. Dumbledore finds her in the Room of Requirement, at death's door.

Now she's all alone, with no one to turn to. Her parents haven't even met yet, and her friends haven't been born. And if word got out that a seventeen-year-old girl had travelled through time, it could put her in serious danger at a time when Voldemort's breathing down everyone's necks, terrorising all of Britain. Without the device that brought her to the past, she's simply trapped there for good. And no matter how good a new identity they give her, or how many perks the Minister throws her way, she feels like she's lost everything.

But a tiny spark flickers inside her. If she can't go back to the future, at least she'll make sure no one else suffers the way she's suffering—and more than that, she'll hunt down the ones who cornered her that night in June 1997 and make them pay.
