It all started on a warm summer day. Pony had been having a cough for a few days darry just thought it was nothing just a simple cough. He could never have guessed that he had been so wrong so very wrong. He seemed to notice their was more to this so called cough his sister had that Tuesday morning.
Darry was setting breakfast down eggs and bacon and a pitcher of orange juice. Pony was usually the first to come out so he was surprised when he saw sodapops face
Soda scratched his scalp yawning. "Weres pone?" Darry asked sodapop pulled out a chair sitting down. "Said she was too tried dar didn't wanna get up" sodapop worriedly said Darry sat down "im sure it's just her cold acting up" Darry said even though couldn't help but be worried a little. "Dar you sure..I mean this seems more then a cough" soda frowned Darry put his hand on sodas arm. "Im sure she'll be okay" he assured sodapop smiled.
After breakfast soda offered to wash the dishes. Darry walked to pony and sodas shared room cracking it open quietly. He step in noticing a lump on the bed. He sat on the bed making it make a small noise waking pony. "Still feeling sick?" A small nod came "need anything" "water" Darry nodded.
He came back with a glass of water and some medicine hoping it would help his sister. "Thank you" pony said taking the glass "your welcome now get some sleep you have school tomorrow" pony nodded.

The next morning pony woke before sodapop. She looked at her arm noticing some bruises probably from sleeping she thought. She got up heading to the closet she picked out a simple outfit one that would cover the bruises so darry didn't worry more. Pony didn't eat breakfast that morning saying she had a late snack last night darry was suspicious but eventually let it go.
Pony had to walk to school today twobit couldn't pick her up this morning he had decided to go to a party on a Sunday he told darry he had a really bad hangover so Pony would have to walk. She slipped on her shoes before heading out the door. When she was walking she heard footsteps Turing around to Johnny who was catching up with her.
"Hi pone..." pony smiled "hi Johnny" they walked in sleince for a while "you okay?" He asked "Yeah why?" Johnny gave her a look "you just look pale you sure your..still not sick.." Johnny was worried he had a soft spot for pony following her around like a puppy sometimes.
Before pony could answer she felt something drip from her nose lifting her hand to what it is. She had a bloody nose Johnny quickly noticed trying to find something to help it stop. He found a bandana in his back pocket giving it to pony "thanks" Johnny nodded "cmon lest go" pony said trying to change the topic before Johnny got more worried.

Through out the day pony found herself getting more tried through the day too exhausted to even finish some of her work. It wasn't like her she knew but didn't want anyone to worry. Johnny met her at her locker telling her steve would be driving them. Steve had told Johnny at lunch pony wasn't there because was at the library trying to catch up on work she had been too tried to finish.
While in the car pony must have fallen asleep she woke up to Johnny saying her name she looked up she had fallen asleep on Johnny's shoulders he must have been to nervous to wake her up. "Sorry" she said rubbing her eyes "it's okay.." Johnny said quietly steve started glaring at them so they took that time to get out.
